Dover Hideaway
Quaint and inviting both inside and out, this two-story cabin in Dover is a place for year-round adventure. Walk to the banks of the Pend Oreille River on sparkling summer days, and spend the snowy winter months skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and ice fishing.
This home enjoys an incredibly convenient location, just a third of a mile from Dover City Park and Beach on the river. Downtown Sandpoint, with its many restaurants, breweries, historic theater, and City Beach Park on Lake Pend Oreille, is just over three miles east, and the slopes of Schweitzer are 15 miles north.
After a day spent in Northern Idaho’s great outdoors, return home to be greeted by a spacious, covered porch out front. It’s the perfect spot to sip cold drinks on summer afternoons, barbecue on the gas grill in the evenings, and linger to play cards and swap stories of the day’s activities.
The interior is sweet and cozy, with a gas fireplace waiting to warm your toes as the winter snow piles up outside. Enjoy a well-equipped kitchen, a corner dining nook for homemade meals and after-dinner board games, and a living room with a smart TV and two comfortable sofas. Of the two sleeping spaces, one is a primary bedroom on the ground floor and the other is an open, loft-style room upstairs. A washer/dryer and complimentary WiFi are provided as well.
