Look out to serene views at this contemporary stay and enjoy the minimalist architecture surrounded by greenery.  The bedrooms are spacious with high ceilings, though the real attraction of the villa is the uniquely shaped swimming pool and the colourful interiors. BEDROOMS -There are 4 bedrooms on the ground floor of the villa. -ACs are provided in all rooms. -All rooms have attached bathrooms. -All rooms have double-size beds. BATHROOMS -There are 4 private attached bathrooms in the villa. -There is also 1 shared bathroom. -The bathrooms are absolutely neat and tidy. -All bathrooms have electric geysers, towels and toiletries. COMMON AREAS -The living room has a flat-screen TV, AC.  -It has seating arrangements for 12 people. -A private pool is available for the guests to use. -Guests can sunbathe in the private pool deck area. -The pool deck has a wired music system. -The games room is accessible to guests, who can enjoy the variety of options available. -There’s a private lawn where guests can unwind. -Outdoor seating for 12 people is available. KITCHEN - The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, and water dispenser. - Crockery is available for 15 people. - Guests do not have access to the kitchen to prepare their own meals. - Storing, re-heating, cooking and consumption of non-vegetarian food is strictly not allowed. - Guests can choose to order from the nearby restaurants.  - There’s a bar for guests to use. FOOD - The food will be provided at an additional cost of 1800/- per person per day. - For groups fewer than 6 people, a cook can be arranged at an additional charge, if confirmed 72hrs prior to the check-in date. This is subject to availability. - All meals will be prepared in the villa kitchen. - Guests can indulge in the local fare at nearby restaurants such as Boardwalk, Bohmiyan Blue and more. - Please inform us about your meal preferences well in advance so we are well prepared to serve you. - Guests can indulge in the local fare at nearby restaurants, however, please check the timings given the prevalent lockdown rules. - Please note that guests cannot bring their own cooks to prepare their own meals. GUEST ACCESS The guests have access to the entire villa except for the kitchen. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, guests may have restricted access to any shared amenities. INTERACTION WITH GUESTS The host is not present at the property, but is always accessible via call or message. A trained and responsible caretaker is present at the property to resolve any concerns and help you have a perfect stay. STAFF ACCOMMODATION We can provide accommodation for 1 staff at an additional charge of Rs.2000 per day, excluding meals and taxes. ACTIVITIES Within the property, guests can enjoy a dip in their private indoor pool, games such as Pictionary, pool, table tennis, foosball, Scrabble, Monopoly, music, and barbecues. They can also play with the trampoline in the garden. One can also head out to experience all that Alibaug has to offer as the villa is very conveniently located. HOME TRUTHS While we do promise you a welcoming home and a great stay, here are a few things we’d like to mention so as to ensure there are no unpleasant surprises later! - Please be careful when you are swimming, since the pool depth goes up to 5 ft. Caution is advised. - Don’t go out to the garden in the evening, not even to explore the plantation area. It is recommended you don’t venture out of the lawn area in the property. - Due to heavy rains, the dining area and games room of the house have had certain leakage issues. Its partial treatment involves taking off plaster from selected areas of the ceiling, which currently appears displeasing. Please refer to the photos section to view its current state.  - WiFi, although it is subject to network availability at any given time. - Mobile networks such as Jio/Vi work fairly well here. - Guests are advised to remain cautious, given the presence of insects around, during the monsoon season. - Owing to monsoons, the road conditions leading up to the villa may be poor.  - Please note that guests cannot hire or bring any outside vendor for any events at the property. ADDITIONAL COSTS - Extra charge of Rs.500 for dishwashing is chargeable.  - Barbecues - Cleaning facilities HOUSE RULES - Loud music is not allowed after 10 PM. - Drinking is allowed at the villa. - Smoking is not allowed inside the villa. However, you can smoke outdoors. - Cigarette buds are to be disposed in the ash-trays only. - Pets are not allowed. - Storing, re-heating, cooking and consumption of non-vegetarian food is not strictly permitted at the villa. - Barbeque is only allowed in the garden area. - The first floor is not accessible to guests. - Guests can use the pool till 7 PM. - No food or drinks will be allowed in the lawn and pool area. - Stags are not allowed at the property. NEIGHBOURHOOD A little coastal town tucked away in the Konkan region of Maharashtra, Alibaug is a very popular weekend getaway holiday destination and has earned itself the name of ’mini-Goa’, owing to the high tourist footfall all year round. Steeped in colonial history, this quaint little town is located about 110 kilometres from Mumbai. It is replete with sandy beaches, clean unpolluted air and plenty of forts and temples, ensuring that despite being a small town, you never run out of activities to do. Popular beaches in the area include Kihim Beach, and Nagaon Beach, with Kihim being a photographer’s paradise. Alibaug is also home to Mandwa Beach, a beach famously known for the innumerable number of movie shootings that take place here. Jay House is conveniently located close to all these adventures that this hill station offers. Should you wish to drive down in your own car, secured parking space for 3 cars is available at Jay House. POLICIES - The full payment must be made for your booking to be confirmed. - The number of guests must not exceed the count mentioned at the time of booking. - Only the guests who have been accounted for are allowed at the villa. - All guests must be able to share valid ID proofs when asked. This could be at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. - All foreign nationals must be able to share their passport and visa details prior to their stay. - Any damage to the property caused by the guest will be charged as per the actual cost of repair or replacement. - Any commercial activity is strictly not permitted. - A refundable deposit may be collected before check-in. - This entire amount is refunded within five working days, provided the total number of guests does not increase and the check-out time is adhered to.
