Welcome to Lazy Bear for your intimate family getaway. The true home away from home vacation villa that will leave you excited and eager to begin time away with loved ones. This open concept, four-bedroom home, allows for convenient gatherings and quality time with the whole group. Walk right in and let the memories of your Breckenridge vacation begin.
When arriving to Lazy Bear, enter on the main level where your spacious and relaxing living room awaits. Find plentiful seating and floor-to-ceiling windows greeting you with mountains in the backdrop and passive solar heat.
For additional ambiance, the two-sided rock fireplace will surely delight offering its crackling and flickering light to not only the living room but the gourmet kitchen as well. Send mouthwatering aromas through the kitchen and dining room from your deliciously cooked meals on the six-burner gas cooktop. Or just enjoy chats at the kitchen bar while the cook prepares the feast.
Once the meal is complete, set the dining room table just adjacent for an additional six. When you’re finished with your energizing meal, head to the large backyard where you’ll find plenty of space to play fetch or chase your furry companion.
Ready to wind down? Head out to the deck for a relaxing soak in the hot tub to let the day’s worries fade away.
Just down the hall is the primary king room, conveniently placed without having to climb the stairs. Enjoy the luxurious ensuite with jetted tub, double bowl sinks, and a walk-in shower. Enjoy a movie in bed or the delightful fire while you read your favorite book. Across the hall, resides a second king ensuite room with a desk to catch up on some work as needed.
Venture to the upper level where the kids can find their own hangout. The kid’s room has its very own sofa and large TV. In addition, it sleeps up to six with one full bed, one twin, and one twin over full bunk - making for the perfect retreat. The final bedroom on this level is a queen room with a shared hall bath.
Other amenities include a washer and dryer and two-car garage and parking for 4 cars total. 4-WHEEL DRIVE REQUIRED in winter months

ABOUT THE AREA
Lazy Bear is minutes to Breckenridge’s iconic Main Street, the Breck Free Ride, and the main station gondola. You can either walk an easy 10 minutes to shopping and restaurants or a 15-minute walk to the gondola. Should you feel like riding more than walking, the nearest free shuttle route is a quick four-minute walk to the Goldflake Terrace, Purple Route B, with the Breck Free Ride.
For groups who require more sleeping, rent one of our other luxury properties, Inglenook, with Lazy Bear, for a combined sleeping of 27. They are less than half a mile from one another and create the perfect opportunity for larger gatherings.
SHUTTLE
This home enjoys complimentary use of the property manager shuttle, mid-November through mid-April, using the convenient shuttle app to schedule pickups. The use of the shuttle is on a first-come, first-served basis.
GUEST SERVICES
The property manager has a Guest Services Team, offering full-service vacation planning assistance prior to your trip. You will be assigned a dedicated specialist who will guide you through all the activities and services available. You will also have access to our online Guest Portal where you can find extensive details about your reservation, your residence and guest services.
IN HOME AMENITIES
All properties have WIFI and come fully stocked with paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, tissues), bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap), and detergents (dish, dishwasher, and laundry) as well as clean bed linens and towels. In addition, the kitchens are stocked with aluminum foil, plastic wrap, trash bags, sponges, soap, salt and pepper, coffee, tea, Nespresso, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils, and standard small appliances.
This home does not have air conditioning. Colorado’s cool summer nights will keep this home comfortable by opening windows after the sun goes down, and then closing the windows and blinds during the day. Utilizing the overhead fans, if available, keeps airflow moving, and additional floor fans can be found in many bedroom closets. Can’t live without it? A/C units may be available for rent for an additional fee.
