Pasadena Retreat
Whether you’re planning to explore Annapolis, Baltimore, or Washington, DC, this four-bedroom home in Pasadena perfectly fits the bill. Enjoy a living space that’s been renovated from top to bottom and magnificent outdoor spaces that include a private pool, a hot tub, and an expansive backyard.
Originally a farmhouse that dates back to 1953, this two-story home sits on nearly an acre of land 14 miles southeast of BWI. It’s a great spot if you’re visiting the United States Naval Academy (13 miles south), Baltimore’s Inner Harbor (20 miles north), or our nation’s capital (40 miles west).
Let’s begin in the wonderful backyard, fully fenced so your kids and dogs can roam safely. After a day of fun-filled excursions, you can take a dip in the pool, unwind in the bubbling hot tub, or simply push your children on the swings hanging from the trees. Light the gas grill on the deck for an evening barbecue, gather for dinner at one of several tables outside, and tell stories by the firepit once the sun goes down.
Thoughtful updates have expanded the home’s footprint to 2,900 square feet. The elegant kitchen anchors the main level, offering stainless steel appliances (including a wine fridge and a dishwasher), a large island with bar seating, and a country dining table. For movie or game nights, gather in the living room or the cozy den, both with TVs.
There are two primary suites - one downstairs, one upstairs, and each with its own bathroom. The two guest rooms share a bathroom upstairs. Other family-friendly amenities of this house include a Pack ’N Play, a high chair, baby gates, and a laundry room.
