*** WHISTLER BLACKCOMB CREEKSIDE GONDOLA AND RED CHAIR LIFT UPDATE**** - November 4th, 2022
Whistler Blackcomb has announced, that due to "supply chain and shipping issues... resulting in delayed delivery to critical parts" is, unfortunately, "impacting the completion of both projects". Big Red Express is now expected to open in early December and will update you on the timeline for Creekside Gondola once the delayed parts arrive.
Whistler Blackcomb has also announced that they will be offering a FREE and FREQUENT SHUTTLE SERVICE FROM CREEKSIDE, AND PRIORITY AND EXPEDITED LIFT ACCESS TO BOTH WHISTLER AND BLACKCOMB GONDOLAS, TO THOSE, TRAVELLING TO AND FROM CREEKSIDE TO THE VILLAGE. Whistler and Blackcomb Gondolas will also be providing EARLIER UPLOADING (weather permitting) of 15 minutes to accommodate this. For SKI-OUT ACCESS to CREEKSIDE, once the terrain is open, usually around late December (weather permitting) their "goal is to allow for ski-out access".
We will be available by text, email, or phone call 24/7. If you need something in person, of course, we can help as well; but we like to give our guests space while on vacation.
We live in town and are available if there are any issues or emergencies while you are in Whistler
Creekside is an amazing neighbourhood with a grocery store, liquor store, bakery, and coffee shop across the street. Lots of options for dining out from casual cafes to pubs to fine dining. The Creekside Gondola is around the corner, for easy access to skiing in the winter and mountain biking in the park in the summer! Alpha Lake and a sunny dock are an 8-minute walk from the front door
Leave the car behind and walk to all the offerings of Creekside, or take public transit to Whistler village in 10 mins. Hop on the valley trail on foot or by bike for 40 km of paved trail connecting Whistler’s neighbourhoods, lakes, viewpoints, and picnic spots!

The Whistler Blackcomb resort provides over 200 marked runs, 16 alpine bowls, and three glaciers for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts.
However, Whistler isn't solely a winter destination. During the warmer seasons, the mountains become an idyllic setting for hikers and mountain bikers. The region has an extensive trail network that offers breathtaking views of alpine meadows, waterfalls, and wildlife.
For those desiring off-the-beaten-path adventures, Whistler provides activities like ziplining through ancient forests, bungee jumping over rivers fed by glaciers or white-water rafting on thrilling rapids. Golf enthusiasts will also discover several highly-rated courses in the vicinity.
