This updated tri-level mountain chalet in Dorrington is the perfect place for a Sierra getaway whatever the season! Enter into a spacious great room with large prow windows to watch the changing of the seasons and a gas log stove set upon an impressive floor to ceiling rock hearth. Whip up a mountain meal for your crew in the fully stocked kitchen. Enjoy a rousing game of billiards in the spacious rec room. Accommodates up to 10 guests in 3 bedrooms + loft: the first with a King bed, the second with a Queen bed, and the third with a Queen bed and 2 Twin beds (one trundle). Additional sleeping includes a bunk bed (2 Twins) in the loft.

About the area
Dorrington sits on State Route 4 and was a historic stopping place on the Big Tree-Carson Valley Road and was a toll road between Murphys and Ebbetts Pass, often serving as a resort for visitors to what is now Calaveras Big Trees State Park. Dorrington is also home to the second largest Sugar Pine in the world, measuring 32 ft round and 220 ft. tall.
