Location
With Park Beach just across the road, the salty ocean air and splash of the waves will entice you over for days of fun at the water’s edge. Take an early morning stroll or set up on the sand to watch the sun rise over the ocean, and later, wander 400m along the sand to start Macauley’s headland walk for spectacular views over the beautiful coast. In the right season, this is a great place to spot whales and dolphins.
Your apartment is an easy 500m walk to the Park Beach Bowling Club for barefoot bowls and a casual meal, as well as the iconic beachside pub, the Hoey Moey, where you can enjoy a drink and live music before strolling back home. The Surf Club restaurant and bar is further along the coast, still just 16-minutes’ walk, and major shopping centre, Park Beach Plaza, is just over 1km away and offers groceries, cafes, a department store and specialty shops.
