We offer a unique opportunity for a beautiful and rare experience on the Great Ocean Road.
Allenvale Farm is a remarkable, sun drenched valley 1.5 km behind the center of Lorne. Settled in 1872, the farm provided fresh produce for Lorne before the Great Ocean Road was built.
Set on 12 acres with a 1km frontage to the St George River, the house sits high on a bank overlooking the valley and apple orchards. With leafy, established gardens, it provides relaxed country living only minutes from the bustle of Lorne.
Decorated in contemporary country style and providing 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a powder room, the house features an expansive open plan living area and country kitchen opening onto a covered outdoor area and timber deck perfect for dining and relaxing surrounded by garden. The living areas have air conditioning and a large open fireplace and the house enjoys cool valley breezes in the evenings in summer.
This an opportunity to enjoy a rare offering in Lorne in the centre of an area of great beauty, with access to both Lorne and the National Park with waterfall walks and abundant wildlife.
