A few grassy strides from the front door will have you at the private dock where you can launch your boat via the ramp. If you prefer to stay on shore, recline on the lounge chairs for sunbathing lakeside. The vast yard makes a perfect play area for younger guests, and there’s a cornhole court for even more fun. Be sure to keep an eye out for any visiting wildlife! The petite, two-story house is decorated in a rustic-chic style with gorgeous wood floors and light, wood-paneled walls. Prepare meals in the beautiful modern kitchen equipped with a full suite of stainless steel appliances. There’s a breakfast bar with seating for two, or you can dine alfresco at the picnic table next to the lake. Pull up a chair on the covered front porch to watch the phenomenal sunsets and then gather around the firepit with good drinks and better company. THINGS TO KNOW There is a queen-size sofa bed in the living area. Streaming is available using your own accounts. Childrens books and games are available for guest use. The double mattress in the loft is on the floor rather than a bed frame. The lofts ceiling is very low and may not suit some guests. During the winter, Lake Murray will be drawn down about eight feet, and it’s possible your vacation rental won’t have water deep enough at the dock or at the ramp to use.
