Antler River Lodge
This colossal log cabin-style home was built in the 1930s by one of the founding families of Guerneville. The house has an upscale hunting lodge feel that is warm and cozy at the same time. With a mix of heritage antiques and luxury furniture, it’s a relaxing place to spend time with friends and family. You’ll love the private hot tub!
The river view from the 11-foot-tall picture window is nothing short of spectacular. A large meadow in the backyard leads to an eight-acre private beach open to only a few neighbors. Fish from the best fishing hole in town, or lounge on the beach. Outside you’ll find a big meadow nestled next to the redwoods. There is also a large side yard with everything you need for relaxing in the backyard - a covered patio, an outdoor fireplace, and a nice sunny yard. It’s a great place to socialize and toast marshmallows over the fire.
The vast living area is comfortably appointed with beautiful antiques and two seating areas, including an oversize pair of sumptuous leather armchairs to curl up in and read a good book. A TV with an HD cable and sports package rounds out the room. Whimsical wildlife art graces the walls, and warm rugs lay on the floors throughout the cabin. Located above the living room is a cozy loft that’s perfect for additional sleeping space and a small office nook with WiFi, a printer, a scanner, and a copier. The kitchen has been completely updated with dark cherry wood cabinets and stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher. High-end cookware, a Kitchenaid mixer, a commercial waffle iron, and all the extras make this a well-appointed kitchen that is holiday-dinner ready.
Two bedrooms have windows overlooking the river, and the bathrooms have been completely remodeled.
