Saddleback Mountain is 11 miles away, Sugarloaf Mountain is 34 miles away, Black Mountain of Maine is 40 miles away, and Sunday River Resort is 68 miles south. Rangeley Trail Center is great for crosscountry skiing and snowshoeing, and there is ice skating and pond hockey to enjoy on Haley Pond. There are two golf courses in Rangeley and one in Sugarloaf, ME. The property has a wonderful local history, part of a family compound that dates back to 1931. The owners built the house from 20072012 using a log home kit. Today, the house and the property are a great home base for summer activities on the lake, fall leafpeeping, and winters spent snowmobiling the local trails and skiing Saddleback, Sugarloaf, and Black Mountain nearby. Begin each morning by marveling at the sunrise over the lake, a view you can take in from the deck or as you sip your morning coffee in the loft. In the peak of summer, the rest of your day awaits outdoors, whether barbecuing on the gas grill or stargazing around the firepit. Inside, the home is a showcase of natural wood and lakefront views, giving the space a cozy and rustic feel.
