Just 5 miles away from the historic town of Valle Crucis, this home is close to many mountain adventures. Valle Crucis is home to the Mast General store, which offers goods from backpacks and walking boots to old-time candy, and everything in between. Right behind the store is Valle Crucis Community Park, with playgrounds, walking trails, sports fields, and access to the New River where you can swim and fish. Birdsong is 7 miles to Boone, with local shopping and restaurants, along with attractions like Boone Golf Course, Tweetsie Railroad Amusement Park, High Gravity Adventures Zipline and Aerial Park, and Appalachian Ski Mountain. Enjoy the main living space with leather furniture around the large fat screen tv and gas log fireplace, dining space and kitchen equipped with everything needed for a getaway in the mountains, and a covered deck with primo gas grill and smoker. There is space for guests to spread out in the lower level family room with entertainment including tv, foosball, shuffleboard and a wet bar. Outside the lower level guests will enjoy having a hot tub on a covered patio with the fire pit just beyond overlooking the mountain view. There is a king suite loft with a private bathroom, a queen bedroom on the main level and a bunk room in the lower level with a twin over full bunk and twin trundle. The lower level family room sofa also converts into a queen sleeper sofa. Additional amenities include smart tv’s, wifi, electric baseboard and wall mounted gas heating with a mini-splits on the main and lower level for year round comfort. Pets are not allowed. There is paved level parking for three cars comfortably and a long staircase from the parking level to the main level covered entrance.
