The location Although this property is privately positioned, it is still only 1km to village shops, newsagent, bottle shop, butcher, bakery, restaurants and cafe. There are 2 public parks located at opposite ends of the beach which offer picnic tables and BBQ facilities. When launching your boat, there is a 2 lane, all tide boat ramp at the rear of Salamander Shores Hotel or a 4 lane, all tide boat ramp at Soldiers Point (approx 4km away). Whilst on holidays there is so much to do including: parasailing, kayaking, fishing, quad bike riding, camel rides, horse trail rides, scenic helicopter rides, scuba diving and of course whale and dolphin watching which has made Port Stephens a well-known destination for tourists. Try the fresh local produce or dine in one on the many award-winning restaurants. Nelson Bay is approx 6km away and the Salamander Shopping Centre is approx 3km away.
