The location
Although this property is privately positioned, it is still only 1km to village shops, newsagent, bottle shop, butcher, bakery, restaurants and cafe. There are 2 public parks located at opposite ends of the beach which offer picnic tables and BBQ facilities. When launching your boat, there is a 2 lane, all tide boat ramp at the rear of Salamander Shores Hotel or a 4 lane, all tide boat ramp at Soldiers Point (approx 4km away). Whilst on holidays there is so much to do including: parasailing, kayaking, fishing, quad bike riding, camel rides, horse trail rides, scenic helicopter rides, scuba diving and of course whale and dolphin watching which has made Port Stephens a well-known destination for tourists. Try the fresh local produce or dine in one on the many award-winning restaurants. Nelson Bay is approx 6km away and the Salamander Shopping Centre is approx 3km away.
The House
Ideally designed to accommodate 2 families comfortably, this modern 3-bedroom, absolute beachfront home has everything you will need for an enjoyable Port Stephens getaway. Entering on the ground level, there are 2 living areas providing comfortable lounges, flat screen TV with surround sound, Foxtel and Netflix, a VCR player, DVD player, fireplace for the cooler months, air-conditioning and Wi-Fi. This area flows out to a beachfront paved entertaining area with outdoor setting and a grassed area for the kids to play, with direct access to the beach which offers calm waters for safe swimming. There is also a second grassed fully fenced area for your pet. Guests have access to a fully equipped laundry with top loading washing machine and dryer plus a bathroom and internal access to the single lock-up garage. There is also a carport and off-street parking with plenty of room for a boat (however, there is a narrow road leading into the property, so please be careful when parking).
Continuing upstairs is a combined, air-conditioned lounge and dining room, with 2 x 2-seater red leather lounges, a flat screen TV with Foxtel and Netflix, a DVD player, CD player and a large timber dining suite. The modern kitchen comes fully equipped with a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, stove, oven and microwave. All 3 bedrooms are located on the upstairs level and offer a king bed, a queen bed and a tri-bunk bed. There is a large bath and shower plus vanity in the bathroom and a separate toilet. A fabulous covered full length deck offers amazing water views, an outdoor setting, sun chairs and an electric BBQ.
With your own private oasis by the water, you can simply kick back and relax with a nice glass of wine, a good book or enjoy a BBQ on the deck with friends.
