The Location – This two floor Duplex is set on the Northern end of Wanda headland. A 130m walk brings you to Wanda Beach, a picturesque spot with calm waters for swimming (tidal). You can walk around the Wanda Headland along a gravel pathway offering seats to stop and soak up the magnificent views. Also close to hand (260m) is the Wanda Beach Shops, which has a selection of restaurants, takeaways, coffee shop, convenience store, butcher, bakery, chemist, post office and bottle shop. For more choice, visit the main Salamander Shopping Centre (4.5km away). If you are a keen golfer then the Horizons Golf Course is only 3km away. The main township of Nelson Bay is 8.5km away. The Rick Stein Restaurant at the Bannisters Resort is just over one kilometre away with multiple dining options and opposite Bannisters is the Soldiers Point Bowling Club which offers affordable meals.
The Duplex – This stylish property consists of a ground floor (22A) and a first floor (22B) self-contained apartments within the one duplex and have been designed to invite. One can access both floors internally and externally. They have naturally flowing layout with an open plan living area with floating floor boards, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning systems in all the rooms. The lounge area at the front of each living quarters offers tasteful modern furnishings, corner leather lounges, large flat screen TVs and DVD players. Glass sliding doors opens out to a front porch for 22A and a balcony for 22B with pleasing elevated Bay water views.
On each floor, a dining table and eight chairs are positioned next to the fully equipped kitchen, complete with stainless steel dishwasher, microwave, full fridge/freezer, oven/stove top and for your convenience a pre rinse spray arm at the sink. Each kitchen offers plenty of bench space to prepare meals and a breakfast bar with four bar chairs.
Continuing through each floor are the two generous sized bedrooms, one with a queen size bed (access to another private balcony which also offers water views for 22B) and the other with a tri bunk (double on the bottom and single on the top) and a fold out bed. All the bedrooms have air conditioning and smart TV’s. Each floor also consists of an internal laundry with top loader washing machines and dryers, and their contemporary bathrooms offer a shower, vanity/mirrored cupboard, and toilet.
Continuing to the back of the duplex are two lovely outdoor areas. 22B has a balcony/veranda with a peaceful leafy outlook, while 22A has a patio area. Both the patio and veranda have an outdoor table with six chairs, a large market umbrella, a gas BBQ and a shared clothes line. Heading to the back of each duplex is a patio area for 22A & a lovely balcony/veranda area for 22B. These areas are accessible via the external stairs.
The elevated driveway up to the duplex is available for parking, as well as parking on the street.
