The Location - Maggie’s Place is located on a very quiet street backing onto natural bushland of Corlette Point and literally 5 metres from the waters edge which provide some of the best sunsets in the area.Take a walk over the headland of Corlette Point (approx 500m) to the Anchorage Marina where guest are welcome to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner at ’The Galley Kitchen’ or a drink at ’Moby’s Bar’. Continue up Corlette Beach to Roy Wood Reserve, enjoy a BBQ with the use of the communal BBQ and picnic tables while the kids can enjoy a splash in the bay waters (on high tide). Salamander Shopping Centre is only 2.5km drive away and the township of Nelson Bay is 4km away offering a selection of shops, restaurants and cafes, plus a choice of water activities at the D’lbora Marina.
The Property -This fabulous new holiday home has a warm and inviting feel and is tucked away from the already quiet street surrounded by reserve and the waters edge,giving it a sense of privacy and seclusion. The house provides a peaceful family oasis that belies its supremely convenient location. Staged across two comfortable levels, with the living areas downstairs (tiled throughout) and the bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs (carpet throughout). The huge open plan ducted air conditioned kitchen, living and dining area form the perfect base to entertain family and friends whilst harboring the uninterrupted water views from the picture window. The top of the range gourmet kitchen comes fully equipped including dishwasher and a full fridge freezer with ice maker. This homes spacious undercover alfresco area is definitely a major highlight with outdoor furnishings and an electric BBQ, plus you have your own private access to the beach through landscaped garden beds.
Upstairs is another living area and four huge bedrooms, the master bedroom offers a king size bed and features a stunning floor to ceiling tiled ensuite with free standing bath which offers the most amazing water views, twin basins and his & her walk in robe plus a balcony. There are two queen sized bedrooms which has access to a two way bathroom. The fourth bedroom offers a king bed which can be split to make two king singles. Other features include a massive double lock up garage and an internal laundry with washing machine and dryer, plus a powder room downstairs.
