The Location - This holiday home is situated in a quiet street only 300m from the picturesque Bagnalls Beach which offers bay waters great for kayaking, picnic tables and playgrounds at either end. There is a lovely Thai restaurant and General Store/takeaway which is a short 600m from the house and continuing in the same direction is Conroy Park (another park offering picnic tables, BBQ’s and a playground). This then leads on to Corlette Beach and the Anchorage Marina (1.5km from house) which offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Salamander Shopping Centre is 2.5kms away and the township of Nelson Bay is 3kms away.
The House- The modern three-bedroom, two-bathroom home greets you from the get-go with the Buddah statue’s tranquil presence in the front garden. The open plan dining, kitchen and a living area feature tapestries layered upon hardwood floors, floor to ceiling length glass windows and doors, ducted air-conditioning, free wi-fi and is gorgeously decorated throughout producing the Zen feeling within every inch of the home.
The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials and more, with a full fridge and freezer, microwave, oven, dishwasher, an island kitchen top bench and a Nespresso coffee machine (you will need to supply your own pods for some delightful morning coffee). The living room has a flat-screen Smart TV hanging on the wall for those nights you want to snuggle up and watch Netflix or Stan. The dining room and kitchen opens to the entertaining deck, where you can enjoy a meal outside undercover with the gas BBQ and a bar fridge in the beautiful outdoors of Corlette. The luscious backyard is fenced, which is perfect for little ones to adventure in. You can also access the lovely, landscaped gardens via the living room that is situated at the front of the house.
Upstairs you are treated to another living room and flat-screen Smart TV which is ideal when guests are divided on what to watch. The second living room opens to the lengthy balcony that curves around from the back to the front of the house and can be accessed from another bedroom. It has many plants for the garden lovers, two chairs with a table, and an outdoor lounge and chaise. It’s the perfect nook to read a book and still enjoy the sunshine. The master bedroom can be found upstairs also with a queen bed, bedside tables, a chest of drawers and an ensuite. The bathroom has a vanity and shower along with a separate room for the toilet. The other two bedrooms have double beds and bedside tables, with one of the rooms featuring a large closet and the access to the balcony. The upstairs bathroom looks like it’s out of a lifestyle magazine, with a bathtub and a bamboo caddy for the ultimate relaxation. The plants in the room give it its chic vibe, along with a separate shower, toilet, and vanity.
There is a small laundry room with an extra sink, further bench top space, a washing machine and there is a clothesline in the backyard. Due to the driveway being steep there is a railing on the side, and the garage is for owner use only. There is parking available in the quiet street.
