Beautifully situated on the 11th tee of the Alderbrook Golf Course, this custom log lodge is a place for morning rounds of golf, adventures on Hood Canal and the Olympic Peninsula, and summer afternoons spent barbecuing on a deck that runs the length of the house.
This two-story home sits on a landscaped piece of property alongside the Alderbrook Golf Course in Union, with mature evergreens framing the house and the back deck. You’ll be a few miles’ drive from state parks on the shores of Hood Canal, with Lake Cushman and Olympic National Forest a few miles beyond.
A stay at this lodge is the quintessential Pacific Northwest experience. The great room is wonderful for entertaining, offering lofty ceilings, a wall of back windows framing the deck and the golf course, and details of natural wood at every turn. Flip pancakes at the kitchen island each morning, then sit down at the dining room table - with a high chair included - for breakfast with a view of the great outdoors.
When it comes to relaxation, enjoy a gas grill on the immense back deck, a big-screen smart TV in the great room, and even more space to lounge in the sleeping loft upstairs. There’s a Ping-Pong table in the garage, as well as a selection of charming kids’ toys on hand.
