Pool Heat:
The pool can be heated upon request! Pool heat can be added from October 1st through May 1st with a 3-day minimum. 72 hours notification is required and a fee of $32+tax per day must be paid prior to check-in. The pool is left unheated so can take up to 72hrs to heat. Please be aware that the pool heaters are heat pumps, which means they extract the heat from the air and transfer it to the water. Heaters are set between 85-87 degrees when pool heat is requested, the temp they reach is dependent on the current air temperature. If the outside temperature is 65-70 degrees, the heater most likely will not reach the set temperature of 85-87 degrees. The pools should have a thermometer in the skimmer basket. If the water temperature is higher than the current air temperature, then the heater is working. The fees for heating the pool apply when the heating equipment is turned ON. Even if the outside temperature during your stay is too cold for the heater to heat the 15k gallon pool to the set temperature, the charges WILL STILL APPLY because the equipment is ON and running. When temperatures are too low for any period of time pool heating is almost impossible, but if the heater is ON, it is running, and the costs to keep it that way WILL APPLY.
***Please be aware that service providers may arrive during your stay.***
