Located on the outskirts of Whitby in the peaceful village of Lythe, this stunning sandstone cottage is the perfect retreat to enjoy the picturesque North Yorkshire countryside and coastal towns. Oakdene sleeps 6 guests across three bedrooms. The stylish decor mixed with traditional features and cosy interiors makes this wonderful cottage the perfect home from home.
Oakdene is located next door to Lythe Cottage which sleeps an additional two guests, ideal for when all the family are travelling together.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
There are two allocated parking spaces for the property, this is across the road from the cottage.
We welcome one well behaved dog and request it is kept downstairs at all times.

Payment and Cancellation - 60 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation request, and (2) reservation request was made 11 days before arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 60 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 60 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 60 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with points: 100% of payment will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 60 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 60 days before arrival: 100% refund.
