If you’re looking for a getaway on the coast, Nellie’s Loft is a compact holiday home located in the popular town of Scarborough. The perfect apartment for a small family, you can explore the local attractions, enjoy the sandy beaches and try the famous fish and chips! Sleeping up to four guests, Nellie’s Loft has everything you could need for a staycation by the sea. One of the great things about Nellie’s Loft is that it is round the corner from the beach and harbour. The Space: Nellie’s Loft has an open plan living and kitchen area. With two comfy sofas and a flat screen TV, this is the ideal place to relax after a fun-filled day at the beach. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and cookware so you can really make the most of your self-catering stay. Head to the main bedroom and you’ll find a comfortable double bed with fresh white bed linen, dressed with blue soft furnishings. The second bedroom features twin beds, making it the perfect choice for children or teenagers. This twin room benefits from an en-suite WC. The family bathroom features a bathtub with overhead shower, WC and basin. Property Manager are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay. Guest Access: Guests have access to the full apartment. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date. A number of pay & display car parking options are available around Scarborough. Interaction with Guests: We’re always available for our guests so please don’t hesitate to get in touch. The Neighborhood: Located in the seaside town of Scarborough, Nellie’s Loft is just a short walk to all of the attractions, with the seafront and harbour being just around the corner from the apartment. Packed with seaside charm, you’ll find plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes to discover as well as arcades and ice cream parlours. There are a number of beaches for you to choose from. The popular South Bay is a sun trap and close to the hustle and bustle of the town centre. North Bay has been accredited with Blue Flag status meaning it’s one of the best beaches in Europe! Cayton Bay is the quietest of the three and boasts a sweeping bay with a rural feel. Lastly Cornelian Bay is the remotest and hardest to get to but it’s a hidden gem and often empty. Ideal for all weathers, there are lots of indoor attractions in Scarborough for the whole family. Head to Sea Life Sanctuary to see seals, penguins, sharks, turtles and more or Scarborough Castle to explore its 3000 year history. If it’s outdoor fun you’re looking for, The Open Air Theatre is a short 20 minute walk from the house where you can see amazing bands, singers and comedians. There is also the Sky Trail Adventure and Peasholm Park nearby. Getting Around: Nellie’s Loft is within walking distance of all that Scarborough has to offer and within 1 hours’ drive time of Staithes, Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay and Filey. Scarborough Train Station is a short 15 minute walk away and has routes to Filey, Bridlington, Liverpool and Sheffield. There are plenty of bus routes throughout Scarborough. Hop on the 12 route and you can visit neighbouring seaside spots of Filey and Bridlington. The X93 travels through to Middlesbrough with drop offs in Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby.
