Home details
This gorgeous 1.5-acre property reminiscent of the Georgian Bay landscape includes a large deck with a built-in hot tub, a floating dock, a lakeside fire pit, a kids playground, a bunkhouse and a boathouse with dock where you will have access to five kayaks and two stand-up paddleboards. During warmer months we also set out a massive 20’ x 6’ floating mat that can hold up to 1500lbs.
Inside our cottage, you’ll find a welcoming, open-concept living/dining area with water views, large bedrooms and thoughtful décor throughout. The kitchen has been recently renovated and offers all the appliances and cooking wares you need for group meals.
The main floor also contains a powder room and two bedrooms. One bedroom includes two sets of adult-sized bunk beds and an en suite. The other bedroom contains a comfy double bed (note this bedroom can get overly warm during the hottest summer days, so we have another back up bedroom in the basement to ensure everybody is comfortable). The second floor is where you’ll find the master bedroom loft area, which has a King bed, a double daybed, its own en suite, TV, computer work station and stunning views of the water. Note this bedroom is located at the top of the stairs without an entry door, so it has visual privacy but sound can travel.
And last but not least, the bunkhouse set a short distance from the main house overlooking the water is a beautiful place to get away from the hustle and bustle. It can serve as a delightful 4th bedroom option (May-Oct) or just a quiet space to read/unwind. It has battery-powered lights and wifi reception (no electrical!).

Need to grab supplies? No problem. There’s a grocery store (Freshmart), pharmacy, fishing gear store and LCBO just minutes away in Seeley’s Bay. Kravings is a good spot for takeout pizza/wings and Konez has great ice cream. Forman Farms also sells great fresh produce and flowers. Check their website for shop hours as it varies by season.
Looking to explore? Play a round at Colonnade or Green Acre golf clubs, spend an afternoon hiking at Rock Dunder or the Marble Rock Conservation Area or check out downtown Kingston. If you’re interested in getting a closer look at the Rideau Canal lock stations, Upper Jones’ Falls is an interesting place to explore.

Feeling thirsty? Enjoy a wine tasting and brick oven pizza at Scheuermann Vineyard or beer sipping and boat watching at Westport Brewing Company. You can also check out the Opinicon in Chaffeys Lock. Call first to confirm whether their patios are open/what their COVID-19 protocols are for service. Gananoque also has a variety of restaurants and tourist activities, including Thousand Island boat tours.

Up for a day trip? Thousand Islands National Park and Frontenac National Park are both well worth the drive. There’s no shortage of activities to enjoy, from hiking and bird watching to scuba diving and castles (seriously, Google it!).
Children of all ages are welcome! That being said, the property has steep drops to the lake/stairs in certain areas so younger children need to be monitored at all times.
DOG OWNERS: note, we can only host hypoallergenic dogs (2 max) due to owner allergies and ask they be kept out of the carpeted bedrooms. We don’t charge a pet fee due to this ask.
Our floating dock is in the water from roughly mid April to mid October depending on weather trends. Our boathouse dock is available year-round.
The continued high quality experience for guests and integrity of this property are our top priority and as such we trust you’ll care for our home the way we’d care for yours ♡
