The high walls and deep moat that surround the Old Town add to its incredible charm, and with relics of the Classical, Ottoman and Italian eras layered among its buildings, it’s a treasure-trove for any explorer! With a Medieval Old Town and a very much not medieval newer town, everyone will find something to love in Rhodes Town - whether it’s rich history, contemporary culture, thriving nightlife or peaceful cafes. There are countless buildings well worth a visit inside the great walls of the Old Town, including the Palace of the Grand Master, lovingly preserved and maintained, as well as the Archaeological Museum in the Great Hospital of the Knights. Another fantastic site worth visiting is the stunning Lindos Acropolis, a short drive south/north. Simply magnificent ancient citadel ruins up on the hilltop, overlooking the beautiful beaches below, you can’t miss this incredible site during your stay on Rhodes!
