The nearest grocery store, bakery, ambulance, doctor, bank, fish market and beach can be found in Vrsar roughly ten kilometres from the villa. The house is two kilometres from the Lim Fjord Panorama Point, which looks over the Lim Valley. The Valley (Limska draga or Limska dolina) is the thirty-five kilometres long, which transforms into the Lim Channel (Limski kanal), a ten kilometers long estuary. Estuaries and coastal waters are among the most productive ecosystems on Earth, providing ecological, economic, cultural, and aesthetic benefits. The estuary is sometimes called a fjord. The natural species have been augmented by farmed mussels and oysters which are on offer in two excellent restaurants on the channel.
