The extensive garden surrounds and encircles the entire villa; therefore guests can indulge in an extravagant amount of outside space and panoramic views over the regions beautiful and vast nature. There is also a sizeable covered outdoor dining area, equipped with a barbeque for evenings spent entertaining guests under the stars. The communal dining area contains large benches and tables with a wooden roof and elegant hanging lights for social gatherings at any time of day or night. Numerous restaurants and bars are located within Lagoa but for those looking for more of a buzz, Carvoeiro is another great option nearby. Carvoerio has a famous beach surrounded by steep and towering cliffs that is a favoured spot for holidaymakers during the summer months. Carvoeiro is a peaceful location with thrilling hiking trails, waterparks and fascinating boat tours. Carvoeiro Boardwalk is a cliff top walk with striking cliff top views that are even more enchanting against the captivating Portuguese sunset. At night the boardwalk is lit, providing a romantic and charming trail. For beach lovers, Praia do Vale de Centeanes is worth a visit. The golden sands of the beach are positioned right at the bottom of high cliffs, providing shelter from harsh winds and making the beach a haven for those wishing to bask in the hot sunshine. The beach has wooden stairs that reach to the top of the cliffs and allow travellers to take in the phenomenal views of the sea and coast. Visitors can also partake in snorkelling and diving at this beach. The town of Portimão is only 14km away from the villa and is a great attraction for its marina, old quarter and many fantastic beaches. The city holds many 19th and 20th century buildings and a mix of traditional and international shops, making it a great shopping destination. The Museu de Portimão lay on the town’s riverfront and was once a São Francisco sardine and mackerel canning factory. The building is now a museum that provides an in-depth insight into the creation and daily production of sardine and mackerel cans, as well as the production of dried fruit.
