Less than 2km from the beach at Puerto Banús, the gorgeous Villa Aloha is located in an exclusive gated community to the east of Marbella. Up to 12 guests can enjoy the secluded setting, which includes a golf course and tennis courts, with a beautiful private pool and gardens belonging to the villa itself. You’ll find it easy to weave from inside to outside at Villa Aloha, with an extensive outdoor living space accessible directly from many of the rooms. A manicured lawn surrounds the stunning swimming pool, and a stunning covered terrace offers you a place to sit, dine and relax. The large rooms inside include a living space with several comfortable sofas and a high, wooden-beamed ceiling above. You have a media room with big-screen home theatre technology, a pool table and Wi-Fi throughout to keep you entertained. Granite counters and a host of top quality appliances can be found in the kitchen, and an indoor dining area is perfect for more formal entertaining. The villa has five elegantly furnished bedrooms, four of which are en suite. Each of these has a double bed, TV, a shower and/or bath, and one has a partial sea view. The other bedroom is a twin room which has access to a shared bathroom with a shower and sauna. At the centre of the villa is a beautiful courtyard with a fountain, which connects several of the main living areas. There is also a fitness room with gym equipment, table tennis and a chillout area which younger visitors will feel right at home in. This villa places you close to all sorts of amenities, including the many golf courses found in the local area. Nearby Puerto Banús is an experience in itself, with a yacht-lined marina, dozens of designer boutiques and restaurants to see and be seen in. If you fancy trying your luck at the gambling tables, Casino Marbella is less than 3km from Villa Bara, with many more attractions to be found in this exciting city. The flower-filled streets of Estepona are around 15 minutes’ drive from the villa and, in the direction of Malaga Airport – itself less than an hour away – you’ll find a diverse range of places to visit. The vibrant city of Fuengirola, pretty Mijas Pueblo, and the coastal resorts of Torremolinos and Benalmádena, are just some of the options available. It was conceived and built by a property developer, Jose Banús, in 1970 – a kind of playground for the rich and famous with a yacht-filled marina, restaurants, designer boutiques and plenty of sports cars around. It certainly enjoys a spectacular location, with the La Concha mountain in the background, and the equally glamorous city of Marbella so close by. It’s not all fine dining in Puerto Banús – you will find plenty of places to enjoy a pizza, burger or simple breakfast. You’ll find no shortage of nightlife if you’re looking for it, but Puerto Banús also has something for younger visitors too, with a children’s play area on Antonio Banderas Square. In summer there are daily street markets on this square too, contrasting with the high-end fashion labels you will find lining the Port area. Even if you’re not buying, it’s fun to people-watch.
