Peacefully nestled on the banks of the river Kolpa surrounded by the lush Slovenian countryside, this idyllic holiday retreat for six is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Located in the White Carniola region this modern property enjoys an outdoor jacuzzi, infrared sauna, volleyball field and a children’s playground with a swing, a slide, a playhouse and a sandpit. There is also a small wooden deck where guests can sunbathe or relax with a book watching the river flow by.
Inside there is a spacious living room with comfortable seating, a flat-screen HD digital TV, a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen fitted with; an induction hob, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge freezer. This area exits to a large, covered terrace furnished with alfresco dining furniture and a brick summer kitchen.
For those in search of an adventure, there are two adult bicycles and one for a child. There are also canoes and kayaks for guests to explore the river and during the winter months a nearby ski resort.

The property is located near the Croatian border in the White Carniola region of Southeast Slovenia. The area is characterised by rolling hills, lush fields, forests and the Kolpa River, offering excellent opportunities for outdoor activities. If you like walking and cycling, you will find many marked and arranged paths that will lead you from village to village, between vineyards and birch groves. The Kolpa also offers opportunities for swimming and canoeing, and guests can even treat themselves to a natural massage on one of the dams that connect the Slovenian and Croatian riverbanks.
The Kočevje Forests, one of the largest continuous forests in Europe, is nearby and known for its bear population. This is a great place for wildlife enthusiasts and hikers. Here visitors will find the Kraljica roga (a one-hour drive away) the largest fir tree in Slovenia.
The region is home to several historical attractions including Gradac Castle (a 6-minute drive away), a medieval castle located on a hill overlooking the surrounding countryside. Other popular excursions include visits to the charming historic towns of Metlika (a 3-minute drive) and Črnomelj (a 13-minute drive), both known for their rich cultural heritage, architecture and beautiful natural surroundings.
Those in search of the ultimate relaxation will enjoy visiting one of the nearby thermal spa towns; Šmarješke Toplice (a 45-minute drive) and Dolenjske Toplice (a 35-minute drive) are both known for their therapeutic, mineral-rich, geothermal waters and wellness treatments.
