You’ll love it because... Casa Paprika offers a "best of both worlds" type of holiday in a tranquil botanical setting. Hidden far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Jávea’s most popular destinations, but just six minutes by car from the lively Arenal and its wine, restaurant, and beach bar scene.
With capacity for 8 people, access to the upper floor and main body of the villa is via stairs and enters through a large glazed porch offering panoramic views from a comfortable living room. Upon entering, guests are greeted by an L-shaped dining room that offers plenty of space for dining and/or chilling out in what we like to call the central axis of the property. The adjacent kitchen and laundry room are bright and luminous, both equipped with the usual amenities and small luxuries expected from a top-tier holiday home.
Walking back through the living room, the long corridor leads to three spacious bedrooms, an en-suite bathroom, and a family shower room with beautiful tiles. In the rooms, whitewashed walls and traditional Spanish shutters combine with white bedding and elegant wooden furniture. Air conditioning is provided in two of the bedrooms, and the third benefits from a large ceiling fan... perfect for those warm nights!
Looking for a bit more privacy? Then the ground floor apartment with its own private entrance is the space for you! It consists of a large open-plan living-dining-kitchen area, a bedroom with a king-size bed and a shower bathroom, space is in abundance!
Outside, the pool is located in the centre of a fresh and multifaceted entertainment space offering optional areas for dining and relaxing. From the pool area, follow the lovely garden path to the back of the villa, where a built-in barbecue and an arabesque-style dining area merge into the perfect space for candlelit dinners with walls in paprika tones... happiness!
JH loves the tranquil gardens and optional relaxation spaces offered in this dream rural villa.

About the area
Xàbia (also known as Jávea), a coastal town in Spain's Costa Blanca, is a gem that offers a delightful mix of historical charm, natural beauty, and modern amenities. Nestled between the capes of San Antonio and La Nao, Xàbia is divided into three main areas: the old town, the port, and the beach area, each with its own unique allure.
The old town of Xàbia is a journey back in time with its narrow, winding streets and gothic buildings, such as the fortress-like Church of San Bartolomé. This area is a testament to the town's rich history, with its ancient walls and historical museums that provide insight into the lives of its past inhabitants.
The port area, known as Aduanas del Mar, is a bustling hub where fishing boats and yachts coexist. It's a perfect spot to savor fresh seafood at one of the many restaurants overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The port also features the modernist Casa del Cable, which now serves as an exhibition hall.
For beach lovers, the sandy Arenal Beach is the main attraction with its palm-lined promenade, lively bars, and restaurants. The clear blue waters are ideal for swimming, while the surrounding coves, such as Granadella and Portitxol, offer excellent opportunities for snorkeling and diving.
Nature enthusiasts will be drawn to the Montgó Natural Park, which towers over Xàbia and provides a stunning backdrop to the town. The park is a haven for hikers and wildlife watchers, with its diverse flora and fauna and panoramic views of the coastline.
Xàbia's microclimate is considered one of the best in the world by the World Health Organization, making it an ideal destination year-round. The town also hosts various cultural events and festivals, such as the lively Fiesta de San Juan in June, which celebrates the summer solstice with bonfires and fireworks.
For those interested in art and architecture, Xàbia does not disappoint. The town has inspired many artists, including the famous Spanish painter Joaquín Sorolla, who captured its landscapes in his works.
In summary, Xàbia is a destination that offers a harmonious blend of historical depth, natural splendor, and a vibrant contemporary lifestyle. Whether you're looking to explore its cultural heritage, relax on its beautiful beaches, or enjoy outdoor activities in a picturesque setting, Xàbia caters to all tastes and preferences.
