I have been living in Canberra for quite some time now and can help you navigate your way around the local area if you need. I can also provide you with any tips on the best places to go for food or just to have fun!
The Braddon area on Lonsdale Street is hip and trendy. There are various restaurants, cafes and shops within walking distance of the apartment including a cute corner store and cafe called Bitten just near the building entrance.
My favourite dinner spots include Eighty Six, Lazy Su and Tipsy Bull. The food is decadent and won’t disappoint.
If you’re after coffee or breakfast then I suggest Barrio and Toasted! Or head to Frugii for a post dinner coffee and ice cream.
Best spot for a drink and a dance is a central bar called Hopscotch. For a nice cocktail head to Tipsy Bull to check out their gin selection or Bentspoke to taste the local brew.
You are within walking distance to a variety of shops, restaurants, bars and nightlife but if required Uber and the local bus stops would be easy to navigate around Canberra from this area.
