Welcome to Leafy Way Lodge!
If you want a mountain getaway, then this is it! The home is positioned on 10+ acres only one mile from the trailhead and Welcome Center for the beautiful Linville Falls as well as the entrance to Pisgah National Forest, with spectacular views of Linville Gorge. Sugar Mountain and Banner Elk restaurants and shops are 25 minutes away. The highly rated, family-friendly Jonah Ridge tubing park is a 4 miles drive. All this plus Grandfather Mountain (15 miles), hiking, fishing, rafting, zip-lining, or maybe just enjoying a glass of wine on the peaceful, well-furnished veranda.
Inside, you’ll find the traditional cabin feel with the modern updates one might expect. Granite counters and newer appliances in the kitchen with a wooden island in the center give space for the family to help with dinner. There is a half bath conveniently located off the kitchen. In the living room, gather around the gas fireplace and catch the game on the TV with DishTV service. The king suite is on the main level with a private TV, deck access, and a full bath with a beautifully tiled shower and double vanity. In the loft upstairs is a Queen log bed and second full bath with a tub/shower combination.
On the wrap-around deck, cook dinner on the grill and dine al fresco as you overlook the large, flat yard. The patio below has the hot tub so soaking, and there is a fire pit and chairs in the yard (not yet shown in pics).
