Whispering Ridge Retreat is a recently renovated 2-bedroom home located less than 3 miles from downtown Boone! Perfect destination for App State Alumni to cheer on the Mountaineers in the fall, or plan a hiking trip in the summer!
Vaulted ceilings, a cozy wood-burning fireplace and a large TV greet you in the living room. The fully stocked kitchen and dining area are adjacent and offer ample of space to gather for dinner! The deck can be accessed from the main level and offers plenty of seating for you to soak in the wonderful mountain views. The master bedroom is also located on the main level and features a queen bed, a twin sleeper sofa, and full bathroom with a shower/tub combo. Head upstairs to the semi-private loft to find another queen bed and full bathroom. The downstairs basement area features a pool table and a bunk bed, along with access to the lower deck!
Get ready to have a fun filled trip to the North Carolina Mountains!
Additional Notes:
- All homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers.
- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week’s notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $20 plus tax.
- Towels and linens will be provided for you.
- This property is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets into this home.
- Please observe a quiet hour of 10PM as there are full time residents nearby.
- The driveway is paved, however it is very steep. AWD or 4WD vehicles are required during winter months.
