MountainAire is a beautiful new home in the Village of Eagles Nest. With three bedrooms and two and a half baths, a large wood burning firepit, a firetable on the deck, and south facing windows with mountain views of Sugar and Grandfather Mountains, your family is sure to love it. Central location between the front gate and Great Camp, just minutes to downtown Banner Elk restaurants, shopping, skiing, mountain biking, alpine slide, festivals, and more!
**Please note that a new home is being built on a nearby lot. Construction may be ongoing Mon-Sat, 7am-7pm**
Enter to the open concept main level with a custom handmade dining table with room for eight guests. The nicely equipped kitchen provides plenty of space to prepare your meals and features granite counters and stainless steel appliances with a granite island. A half bath is just down the hall. The cathedral ceilings open the space to the stone, remote-controlled gas log fireplace with a 65" SmartTV mounted above it. All four TVs in the house offer Roku capabilities and SlingTV for live TV programming, and the home offers fiberoptic service throughout. A huge sectional provides seating for everyone to gather. The king suite is on the main level with access to the deck, a 55" TV, and private bath. The tiled, glass wall shower and double granite vanity creates a very nice space to prepare for the day.
Upstairs are two bedrooms with a shared full bath in the hallway. The bath has a gorgeous tiled shower and double granite vanity. To the right is the second vaulted ceiling king bedroom, and to the left, two sets of custom made XL length twin-over-twin bunk beds with a trundle under one, creating space for up to 5 to sleep comfortably in this room. Each bedroom has a smart TV mounted on the wall.
MountainAire is well maintained and offers lots of owner upgrades: full size washer & dryer, softened water, thermostatically controlled shower fixtures, extra shower & cloths hooks for convenience, automatic exhaust fan timers & more.
Step outside to the beautifully landscaped level yard great for fun & games and and let the cool MountainAire refresh you. The deck is partially covered, and under the covered part you’ll find a selection of seating around a custom gas firetable & wine barrel table. There’s also a gas grill on the deck. Down a few steps you’ll find the large stone fire ring, ready for a wood fire and a fun evening of roasting marshmallows and telling stories plus a romantic double swing under the deck with mountain views.
There’s room for parking for 3 cars here, as well.

Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each
HOURS: Thur & Fri 4p-10p; Sat 2p-10p; Sun 2p-8p. (Please verify hours directly with the winery, as times may vary seasonally.)
Please note that all visitors on premises at the Winery must be 16 years or older, with the exception of Sundays. This is strictly enforced.
Guests do not have access to the locked-off portion of the Sportsman’s Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.
Additional Notes:
- This home is pet friendly for an additional rent of $50/night plus tax each, max of two, dogs only.
- Firewood may be added at time of booking or by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night.
- Eagles Nest is an up and coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.
- Please be advised that private ATVs are not permitted in the community and will be denied entry at the gates.
- The main roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access all properties in winter months.
- All stays at Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious facilities and features in the development.
- Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)
- The summer concerts are open to all guests however there is an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.- All linens and towels provided for your stay.
- Please note that all Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
- Homeowners have exterior camera pointing at the driveway for safety. No cameras monitor the inside or other exterior parts of the home.
- Returning guests of MountainAire may receive a 10% discount, not to be stacked with other discounts.
- Please note that the distances shown on OTA’s map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations.
CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
