Welcome to Buckhorn Lodge, a gorgeous home in a peaceful community atop Sugar Mountain!
Only minutes from the slopes, Buckhorn Lodge is a great destination any time of year. Take in the beautiful views from the decks, soak in the hot tub, or gather around the stone fireplace in the lower yard for a s’more fest!
There is garage access and only two steps to enter the home. Walk in to the living room with gas log fireplace and open kitchen. There is seating for two at the granite island, and the dining table holds eight comfortably. Three bedrooms are on the main level and three on the lower level. You’ll find a king suite with TV, deck access, and fabulous tiled shower plus soaking tub.
Across the hallway are two Queen bedrooms, each with a TV and ceiling fan. In the hallway is a second full bath with a tiled combination tub/shower. Near the garage entrance is the first laundry room and a large mud room, perfect for dropping off your gear!
Downstairs are the pool table, Pac-Man arcade, and working jukebox. A kitchen area with microwave and full size fridge are perfect for storing and making snacks. A second full laundry room is downstairs, as well. There are two more king bedrooms, each with a TV. They each have access to a private sink and then a shared full bathroom with combination tub/shower. The final bedroom has two twin beds.
On the main level deck you’ll have beautiful Mountain View’s. Sit in the large rockers while someone cooks dinner on the grill with granite counters. Dine al Fresca or just enjoy a glass of wine with a table for four outside. The lower level deck has a large hot tub, ski-lift swing, and steps to the lower yard.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
- This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets into this home.
- Guests of the home must observe quiet hours after 10pm. Please be respectful of the full-time residents. The neighborhood is very strict about its noise ordinance!
- Gatherings of persons in excess of the home’s posted maximum occupancy are strictly prohibited. - Firewood may be purchased for the fire pit by contacting us with at least a week’s notice. You’ll get two wrapped packs of kiln dried wood and a fire starter for $25 plus tax.
- The owners of this home use exterior cameras to monitor their property and ensure it remains safe. The cameras face the front/driveway area only and are not pointed at the interior of the home.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
Bookings canceled within 59 days of the arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
