Emerald Escape is large, welcoming home overlooking the greens of the 4th, 5th and 6th holes of Beech Mountain Golf Course. Year round, each season provides an atmosphere of beauty, fun and relaxation. Whether you are looking for a mountain vacation, ’working from home’, or seeking peace and quiet on scenic Beech Mountain Emerald Escape is your perfect choice for a relaxing getaway!
Emerald Escape boasts an open floor plan with beautiful views through a wall of windows overlooking the golf course where you are sure to see numerous deer during your stay. The living room is spacious and offers a gas fireplace with a large flat-screen TV. On the other side of the fireplace, there is a lounge room with a card table for game night with friends and family, or the ideal work from home office. High speed internet allows for a great work from home environment.
The large open deck provides additional outdoor seating and a gas fire table for taking in the beautiful mountain scenery. Enjoy a game of corn hole while you grill dinner on the large gas grill.
The open concept kitchen is well equipped with a gas stove and double oven, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances. The spacious open dining area offers seating for eight.
Two master bedrooms with king size beds are on the main level. Each has its own walk in shower. Both king size bedrooms have HDTVs. Downstairs a third bedroom has (2) full-over-full bunks and a set of twin-over-full bunks. There are two full bathrooms on the lower level with a combination tub and shower.
The lower level of Emerald Escape also has a spacious den with a gas fireplace, ping pong table and tiered movie theater seating surrounding a large HDTV for movie night or gaming. Outside, the lower deck has an 8 person hot tub and separate seating area.
EMERALD ESCAPE is perfectly located less than five (5) minutes to Beech Mountain Ski Resort, providing access to many winter activities like skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and ice skating. During summer, enjoy mountain biking, scenic ski lift rides, disc golf, and hiking. Buckeye Recreation Center is a quick ten (10) minutes drive, the town of Banner Elk is fifteen (15) minutes away, and Sugar Mountain Resort is twenty-five (25) minutes away.
Located just a short distance from the home is the Beech Mountain Club where guests can enjoy access to Private Restaurants, Championship Golf, Professional Tennis, pickleball and a heated pool to name just a few amenities. Guest passes must be requested and paid for in advance for a Sports Membership; limitations apply. Additionally, the Buckeye Recreation Center and numerous trout fishing streams are located close by and we can even connect you with the best local fly fishing guides. Guests also enjoy private access to the Gated Winter Road which offers a shorter route to and from Banner Elk so you can even experience more activities including Horseback Riding, UTV tours, an Alpine Roller Coaster, White Water Rafting and Tubing Trips, Dining, Shopping, and so much more.

- CANCELLATION POLICY: Bookings canceled within 24 hours of their creation will receive a full refund of payments. Bookings canceled more than 24 hours after their creation are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
- Located just over 5,000ft in elevation, this home does not have air conditioning.
- There is parking for four (4) vehicles. Access to the home is up a flight of eight (8) steps. No smoking is allowed on the property.
- MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO BOOK!
- FIRM MAX OCCUPANCY OF EIGHT (8) TOTAL PERSONS
- The garage is not available for guest use.
- Please note that this property absolutely does not permit pets anywhere in or on the premises at any time including outdoor spaces. Bona fide service animals as prescribed by a medical professional may be permitted, and the presence of a service animal must be disclosed prior to check-in. Misrepresenting a pet as a service animal is a crime under North Carolina law. Guests who bring a pet to a no-pet home will be subject to a non-refundable $750 fee to reimburse the owner for wrongful use of their home as well as compensate for removing pet hair and dander and clean carpets and upholstery.
If any pets are discovered during your tenancy including via security camera or observation of neighbors or BRMR staff, your credit card on file will be charged for the above-mentioned fee.
- Please note that the owners of this home use security cameras to monitor the exterior of their home to ensure it remains safe when unoccupied. No cameras are aimed at the bedrooms, doors, or windows.
- AWD/4WD is required in times of snow or ice to access the town of Beech Mountain.
- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
