Welcome to Grandview Getaway! The name certainly speaks for itself. Located only 15 minutes from downtown Boone and 2 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway on 5 private acres, this home offers the solitude and tranquility you need for a peaceful mountain getaway.
Enter into the main level living room which features a stacked stone gas fireplace, flat screen TV, and cozy furniture for family and friends to gather. The dining area has a table that will seat 8 people next to another fireplace. The kitchen is complete with a 6-burner gas range, griddle, 2 ovens and utensils making it perfect for the family chef to put together a meal. Just off the kitchen is a covered deck with a gas grill and beautiful views!
The master bedroom, located on the main level, has a king size bed, a large bathroom with a jetted tub, tile walk-in shower, and his & her sinks. Also on the main level are two more bedrooms, each with one queen bed.
Upstairs there is a bedroom with a queen bed and a private bath with a shower/tub combo. Lastly, head downstairs to find a bedroom with a set of twin bunk beds and 2 twin beds and a bathroom.
Step outside onto the deck to admire the long range views of the Blue Ridge Parkway. The yard is big enough for a game of football or frisbee while dinner is cooking. Relax around a fire and enjoy smores and weenie roasts. Or better yet, soak in the 6-seater hot tub after a long day of hiking.
Additional notes:
- Please Note: This home is accessed by a paved road, but it has a steep grade for the last quarter mile. 4WD or AWD vehicles are strongly recommended for all rentals Nov-April.
- Pet dogs welcome, $25 per night each, max 4 dogs.
- Firewood may be added by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night.
CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
