As you walk into the great room, the first thing you’ll see is the huge wall of windows overlooking the stunning mountain views. The living area featured soaring 30’ exposed beam vaulted ceilings, and has plush seating arranged to take advantage of both the views and the stone gas log fireplace, with HDTV beside it. The dining table has room for 8 with 2 more at the bar. The kitchen has cheerily painted cabinets accented by textured natural stone counters and stainless steel appliances.
The north wing of the main level has the master suite with a King bed, French doors to the deck, and Direct TV, and a private bath with a custom tiled shower. The south wing of the main level has a full bath in the hallway with a tub/shower, and a bedroom with two Queen beds and deck access.
Downstairs is a huge second living room with a leather sectional couch facing a stone fireplace with HDTV mounted above it, as well as a ping pong table & air hockey table. There is a full bath at one end, as well as a bedroom with a King bed. At the other end of the room is another bedroom with 2 bunk beds, both are Twin over Full, and a foosball and air hockey tables, along with a full bath with tub/shower. Need to work while on vacation? The home has high speed fiber internet all throughout as of June 2024!
Step outside onto the newly expanded deck and enjoy the ever-changing mountain views. Soak in the hot tub as you watch the fog settle into the valleys with mountain peaks rising above; sunrises here are magical. There is a selection of padded wicker furniture and a round 6-top patio table, plus a gas grill. Getting into the house is easy, via the long private driveway leading to the large flat parking area and only one step inside. After dark, enjoy s’mores in the firepit at the edge of the driveway. The property borders the Blue Ridge Parkway land, and the Mountains-To-Sea Trail has an easy access point less than half a mile up the street.
Located 5 minutes to a grocery store and less than 10 minutes outside Boone in the peaceful area of Deep Gap, and just 11 miles to Blowing Rock via the Blue Ridge Parkway, all of the High Country’s best shopping, dining, and attractions are just moments away. Relax and enjoy 1 Sublime View today!
-Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week’s notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax per night.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Please note that the distances shown on OTA’s map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations
- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
-This home allows up to 2 mature dogs with an additional pet rent of $50 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.
CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
