Enjoy the views from this beautiful two bedroom log cabin with stone fireplace, covered porch with rockers and swings, complete privacy and yet convenience to Boone. Imagine sitting on the porch with no sounds other than wildlife and looking out on the stunning 180 degree long-range views. This is just what you dream of when you think of perfect peace and mountain tranquility.
The interior of this home is decorated with log furniture and mountain artifacts. The wood burning fireplace adds the ambiance that real log cabins have. The full length glass doors allow the view into both the living room and master bedroom. The privacy is amazing and this house offers all conveniences. Sit on the 20 foot covered porch and watch the stunning sunset over the Appalachian Mountains that has no light pollution, just the awe that vast expanses of sky inspires.
With one king, one queen and a queen sleeper sofa, this house sleeps up to six comfortably. There is a 47" flat screen HDTV in the living room and 32" flat screen HDTV in the primary bedroom. Should you need to get a little work done, there is wireless. Still this cabin is the quintessential romantic cabin perfect for the couple who wants solitude, privacy, and beauty for memories to share for long after the holiday.
The log kitchen table with nearby gas Vermont Casting Stove is the perfect setting for family dinners on a cool mountain night. This house is about 20-25 minutes from Boone or Mountain City, TN and still close to all tourist attractions in the area.
Additional Notes:
- Firewood may be added at the time of booking or by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You receive two wrapped bundles and a fire starter for $25/night.
- Silverleaf has convenient paved access for all but the last 2 miles, which are gravel.
- Please note, this home goes on a winter block from January 1st through March 31st.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.

-CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
