Carolina Charm has three bedrooms but also has two additional private sleeping areas.
Welcome to Carolina Charm, a wonderfully constructed log cabin home in the Blue Ridge Mountains near Boone, Blowing Rock, and Valle Crucis, NC.

Set amid tall pines and mature hardwoods, its heavily wooded, 2.5 acre setting will feel secluded and serene yet Carolina Charm is only minutes from Boone, Blowing Rock and Valle Crucis (home of the Original Mast General Store). Other nearby amenities include the Willow Valley Golf Course, which is open to the public; a community playground; and numerous great places to hike. Grandfather Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, Appalachian State and other major High Country attractions are short rides away.
Offering 5 sleeping areas and 3 full baths on three levels, Carolina Charm can accommodate up to 14 guests. A special feature of this home is that it offers two dens and two master bedroom suites.
Sit back, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the Blue Ridge Mountains in this tastefully decorated High Country retreat. Comfortable furniture and the owner’s personal touches will get you in the vacation mood. Turn on the gas logs in the beautiful stone fireplace and sit back and savor the moment. Enjoy your favorite shows and movies on the 50" HDTV above the fireplace.
If you’ve got a taste for the outdoors, grab one of the several rocking chair on the wraparound front porch or enjoy a soak in the oh-so-relaxing hot tub and listen to the birds in the trees nearby. You’re in for a treat with the gorgeous mountain views from the front porch. Your whole family will enjoy eating outside on the picnic table!
The kitchen has been stocked with everything you need, whether you’re preparing a large group meal or a romantic dinner for two. Bring your favorite K-cups or grounds for coffee. Take in those great views from the dining table while you eat!
This home has been designed with the comfort of its guests foremost in mind. There are also several DVD players throughout the home and all TVs can accommodate your favorite game system. Cleverly tucked into the ottomans, are a variety of games to play. Even the littlest guests have been remembered, with the inclusion of a high chair and a baby gate.
Get a great night’s sleep in the King-sized bed in the extra roomy primary bedroom on the upper level. Snuggle up with your favorite book (and maybe catch a nap) in the overstuffed loveseat in its cozy sitting area.
In the other upstairs bedroom, you and your guests can enjoy your choice of 12 games on the Midway arcade. This bedroom also has a Queen-sized bed. The two guest bedrooms on the main level of this home feature one King-sized bed and two Queen-sized beds respectively. The second primary bedroom with a full bath and a King-sized bed is located on the lower level; you’ll also find the second den with a pool table, bistro table and 4 bar stools, and a gas-log fireplace system.

Additional notes:
- CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week’s notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax per night.
- PET RENT: $25 PER NIGHT PER PET (MAX OF 4 DOGS ALLOWED) PLUS TAX. MATURE SMALL DOGS ONLY PLEASE
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
