Welcome to Alpine Vista, a beautiful Blowing Rock cabin with perfect privacy and gorgeous mountain views! This cabin features many wonderful features simply not found in most homes.
The main level features an open great room dominated by a wall of windows overlooking the stunning mountain views. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, a restored antique gas stove and oven, tiled backsplash throughout, and granite counters. Comfortable seating is arranged around a gas fireplace and an HDTV. The nearby pair of sliding glass doors leading onto the covered screened porch, comfortably furnished for maximum relaxation as you sit and enjoy the views. The porch can either be completely enclosed in cooler weather, or glass panels can be slid aside to enjoy the fresh mountain breezes.
Just off the great room is a den with a leather sleeper sofa and an HDTV with an Xbox360 and Kinect. Be sure to bring some games from home to enjoy, or use the ones provided in the home for you.
On either side of the great room is a master suite with a King bed, HDTV, and bath. The suite to the right of the great room has a pair of connected vanities and a spacious glass and tile shower, and is open to the den. The suite to the left of the great room has a private bath with two standalone marble topped vanity sinks, a jetted bathtub, and a stone tiled shower with rainhead.
Stairs to the entertainment level are through the enclosed porch. The lower floor of the home features a second living area with a sofa and bubble hockey table and a bar. There is a home theater room with a 10’ projection screen and a projection system capable of showing BluRay and DVD movies as well as selections on Netflix and on DishNetwork. Off the entertainment room is a sauna and a half bath, as well as a door to the stone firepit ringed with Adirondack chairs overlooking the views.
The double-bay detached garage is just a few steps away from the front porch. The home also has ample parking in the circular gravel drive.
Located at the end of a quiet gravel lane just 5 miles south of Main Street, Blowing Rock, Alpine Vista is convenient to great shopping and dining, ski resorts, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and all area attractions. The peace and serenity of the mountains is sure to relax you like nothing else, and the beautiful Alpine Vista will quickly become your new favorite mountain destination!
Please Note: This home is accessed from a one-lane gravel road. It is plowed in the winter, but 4WD vehicles may be required to access.

- The TV in the downstairs game shown in the photos room has been removed.
-Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week’s notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax per night.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
- This home allows up to 2 mature, well-trained dogs (dogs must be 35 pounds or less) with an additional pet rent of $25.00 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.
CANCELLATION POLICY: STRICT: Cancellations 60+ days prior to arrival receive a full refund minus the $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 60 days of arrival will not be refunded unless the dates are rebooked to another traveler.
