Come make everlasting memories at this beautiful home that sits on the Ellijay river! It features a huge wrap around, screened in porch, with a hot tub, Weber grill, 2 rocking chairs, and dining seating for 6. It’s perfect for enjoying your coffee in the morning or your wine in the evenings. There’s also a paved fire pit for you to enjoy at night.
This home is less than 5 mins to downtown Ellijay and sleeps 8 comfortably. It has a huge first floor master with a King bed and a large Roku TV. The master bathroom, walk in shower, and walk in closet are also just as large, and is separate from the other bedrooms. The other 2 bedrooms are located upstairs and share a double sink “Jack n Jill” bathroom with a tub. Both bedrooms are comparable in size, have Queen beds, large closets, and Roku TVs in each. Outside of these bedrooms, there is a small loft with a twin memory foam pullout couch. The second twin pullout couch is in the game/tv room that is located in the sunroom near the master.
The game room has a Roku tv, comfortable seating, a ping pong table, and foosball table. It is off the master and wrap around porch. The house has gorgeous high ceilings that make it feel open and airy. The living room will be the place to gather with your loved ones as it has ample seating for everyone. The kitchen is equipped with everything you would need to cook a meal for a large group. It is beautifully updated with dining for 8 and barstools for 4. There is also a half bath off the living room for convenience. The large laundry room is behind the kitchen and off the garage entrance.
Come enjoy this beautiful, spacious, and cozy - 2 bedroom cottage that sleeps 6 guests max. The cottage overlooks the beautiful Ellijay River, which is perfect for wading in the shallow water or laying out during the warmer months. In the winter, you will love listening to the peaceful river, while enjoying a beverage and staying warm around the outdoor firepit. Your screened in porch features a propane grill, and a picnic bench to enjoy your meals overlooking the river. The cottage is situated on 7 acres that is shared with our home, which is located next door. It is less that 2 miles to downtown Ellijay, 10-13 miles to downtown Blue Ridge, multiple apple orchards within a few mile radius, many winery & vineyards, as well as many hiking trails / waterfalls that are within a 30 minute drive. Your kids will love the Noah’s ark playground & swings that we built which will be sure to keep them busy! Loungers are located on property for you to lay out. Tubing and kayaking are nearby at the Ellijay River Outfitters or the Cartecay River Experience.
Inside "The Cottage", you have 2 bedrooms (both upstairs) which sleeps 6 comfortably. One bedroom features a queen bed and the other bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds- 4 beds in total. There is a half bathroom upstairs for both bedrooms to use. Downstairs, you enter the front door into the open kitchen, dining room, and living room. Imagine cozying up on the couch in front of the beautiful gas fireplace, with a glass of wine. The dining room has seating for 6 and there is also a full bathroom (with stand up shower) behind the kitchen. Weather you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a girls weekend, quality family time, or just pure relaxation - this river front cottage is perfect for you!
Other things to note:
LATE CHECK-OUTS & EARLY CHECK-INS: Check-in time is 4PM and checkout time is 11AM. Door codes do not activate until set check-in time. Early access will not be provided without prior approval. Guests who check-in early or checkout past checkout time will charged the additional fee of $50/hr.
There is a security camera facing the driveway that will be on during your stay. Any pets or extra guests seen on property is subject to a charge.
