Craster Rocks is situated in a very special location within National Trust owned farmland that surrounds Dunstanburgh Castle. Right on the edge of the Northumberland village of Craster, the property has uninterrupted views towards the harbour and directly out to sea. The harbour itself is just a few minutes away by foot, as is the Jolly Fisherman pub and Robson’s kipper smokery. Sleeping up to six guests, Craster Rocks provides a perfect base for families and groups of friends.
The Space:
The property offers a beautiful open-plan living and dining area with sea views and a contemporary coastal interior. The original artwork is prevalent throughout the property, adding a touch of vibrancy and character to the interiors. The living area has two comfy sofas, so you can hang out here with your friends in front of the flat-screen TV which also has a DVD player. The dining area has a spacious wooden dining table and six sea blue chairs.
The kitchen is a modern and bright space with white cupboards and worktops. It has all of the appliances you need to cook, including an oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge/freezer with the added luxury of a dishwasher.
The first bedroom is cosy and has a coastal theme. It has a king-size bed, as well as an ensuite WC which makes it perfect for guests who want more space. The second bedroom is ideal for kids and teenagers. It has twin beds, storage space for your belongings, and the same calming atmosphere. The third bedroom offers a tranquil interior, with a double bed and country artwork to remind you of your surroundings.
The bathroom is a traditional space with a modern flair. The interior is fresh and light thanks to the white brick-style tiles and it has all the bathroom necessities you need, including a free-standing bathtub, a wash basin, and a WC.
The outdoor space is excellent for you to spend time with your friends or loved ones. At the back of the property is the garden where you can relax and dine al fresco, whilst at the front you can enjoy the stunning views of the harbour.
Craster Rocks is directly next to Craster Waves, with both properties sleeping 10 guests in total between them. Please contact our friendly team to enquire about availability.
Property Manager are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
Free on-site parking is available for two vehicles outside the property.

The Neighborhood:
The charming fishing village of Craster is perfect for peaceful retreats on the beautiful Northumberland coast. Lovely views of the harbour can be found in almost all spots within the village.
Nearby is Craster Tower, an 18th century mansion incorporating a mid 14th century Pele Tower which belonged to the Craster family. The property was enlarged in 1666 when a two-story manor house was built on to the east side of the tower. Dunstanburgh Castle is also easily accessible from Craster.
The Village itself also has a great deal to offer, with many circular walks, Robson’s Smokehouse (world famous for their kippers), the Mick Oxley Gallery, fishing trips from the harbour and fine golfing in the area.
Getting Around:
The closest train station to Craster can be found in Alnmouth which has great bus and train links to surrounding areas and further afield with direct routes to Newcastle & Durham, as well as Edinburgh, York and London.
You will have direct access via bus from Craster to Alnwick, Berwick and Seahouses.
