Columbus View is a bright and spacious apartment in the seaside town of Scarborough. Sleeping up to five guests across three bedrooms the property is suited to friends, families or couples looking for a seaside break. Tastefully decorated with modern furnishings and high spec fixtures and fittings, this apartment is the perfect place to rest after exploring this beautiful coastline. Within walking distance to the popular tourist areas and Scarborough town centre, the apartment is the perfect base base for exploring the local area. The Space: The living room at Columbus View is a well-appointed space with two matching sofas, an armchair, and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV with Freeview and streaming services available. The kitchen-diner is a delightfully spacious and modern space. It is well-equipped for cooking and has a generously-sized dining table where your entire group can dine together. Columbus View’s first bedroom is generously-sized and comes with a king-size bed and a dressing table. It also has plenty of storage space for your belongings and a flat-screen TV to keep you entertained. The second bedroom is a lovely double room with a dressing table, storage space, and hangers. It also has a flat-screen TV as well. The third bedroom is a cosy single room with a flat-screen TV and hangers for your convenience. The bathroom is a well-kept space featuring a bathtub with an overhead shower. It also has a wash basin and a WC. Property Manager are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay. Guest Access: Guests have access to the full apartment. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date. Parking scratch cards are provided for your stay, allowing for free on-street parking on surrounding streets. Interaction with Guests: We’re always available for our guests so please don’t hesitate to get in touch. The Neighborhood: Located in the seaside town of Scarborough, Columbus View is just a short walk to all of the attractions. The apartment is a 20-minute walk away from Scarborough North Bay beach via Peasholm Park. North Bay is accredited with Blue Flag status meaning it’s one of the best beaches in Europe! Cayton Bay is the quietest of the three and boasts a sweeping bay with a rural feel. Lastly Cornelian Bay is the remotest and hardest to get to but it’s a hidden gem and often empty. Packed with seaside charm, you’ll find plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes to discover as well as arcades and ice cream parlours. There are a number of beaches for you to choose from. The popular South Bay is a sun trap and close to the hustle and bustle of the town centre. Cayton Bay is the quietest of the three and boasts a sweeping bay with a rural feel. Lastly Cornelian Bay is the remotest and hardest to get to but it’s a hidden gem and often empty. Ideal for all weathers, there are lots of indoor attractions in Scarborough for the whole family. Head to Sea Life Sanctuary to see seals, penguins, sharks, turtles and more or Scarborough Castle to explore its 3000 year history. If it’s outdoor fun you’re looking for, The Open Air Theatre is a short 20 minute walk from the house where you can see amazing bands, singers and comedians. There is also the Sky Trail Adventure nearby. Getting Around: Columbus View is within walking distance of all that Scarborough has to offer and within 1 hours’ drive time of Staithes, Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay and Filey. Scarborough Train Station is a short 10 minute walk away and has routes to Filey, Bridlington, Liverpool and Sheffield. There are plenty of bus routes throughout Scarborough. Hop on the 12 route and you can visit neighbouring seaside spots of Filey and Bridlington. The X93 travels through to Middlesbrough with drop offs in Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby.
