Welcome to Spring Mountain! Spring Mountain is a 4BR/2BA mountain cottage in Banner Elk, tucked away in a quiet, pastoral setting, a peaceful mountain getaway. Located on 10 acres of cleared land at 4000 feet elevation, this property has layered views to downtown Boone and beyond. The recently renovated kitchen boasts granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, seating eight (8) at the farmhouse dining table. Comfy seating surrounds a large HDTV in the den. The sleeping accommodations on the main level include a master bedroom with a king-size bed and an HDTV, a bedroom with a queen-size bed and an HDTV, and a bedroom with two twin beds. The main floor full bathroom has a combo tub and shower for these three bedrooms to share. On the lower level, there is a den with a cozy seating area around a large HDTV, and sleeping space with a full bed, and a large bathroom with a walk-in shower and laundry area. Outside is a game space in the garage with a ping pong table. A hot tub and outdoor seating are on the back deck, and a fire pit with Adirondack seating is next to the stocked fishing pond. This home is dog-friendly. There is parking for four (4) vehicles. Access to this home is down two stairs. We recommend 4WD in the winter months. Located just minutes away from Apple Hill Alpaca Farm, guests can enjoy guided farm tours to see the animals and a store that sells local goods. Winter sports like skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, and ice skating are a short drive away, with Sugar Mountain being just under twenty (20) minutes away and Beech Mountain twenty-five (25) minutes away. The property itself is hikeable up to 4400 feet in elevation, with plenty of natural rock formations for bouldering. Access to other local attractions includes: The Banner Elk Winery (10 minutes).
