Welcome to the getaway of your dreams - the perfect place to come home and relax after a day filled with thrilling adventures! Admire expansive views of the Hood Canal. Wake up to the sound of eagles who live in the area. Elk are often spotted in the meadows a few miles from the house. Other wildlife sightings include orcas occasionally. The beach is accessible by going to the public beach less than a quarter-mile away.This is an amazing location within a few hours of Seattle. You will be nestled between the national forest and the Hood Canal; therefore, you will find plenty of outdoor opportunities to hike, bike, boat, and fish. Harvest your own dinner: shrimping, crabbing, shellfishing, and salmon fishing are nearby. Also, centrally located and makes a great home base for some fantastic day trips for all kinds of interests. Day trips northwest include the Dungeness Spit, lavender farms, berry farms, and Crescent Lake Lodge. Day trips northeast include cideries, the fantastic fun seaside town called Port Townsend (jazz/blues festivals in the summer), Fort Warden, Fort Casey, and Fort Flagger.
You are welcome to walk down the beach line and hang out on our beach or gather a few oysters for your family meal. Gather around the fire pit and enjoy a fun family time with Dabob Bay as your backdrop. Feeling hungry? Take advantage of the gas grill and six-person outdoor dining area for delicious meals alfresco.
Inside, the home’s first floor has an open concept seamlessly combining the living area and eat-in kitchen. Vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows allow endless natural light in as well as marvelous views of the bay. Snuggle up in front of the gas fireplace and stream a favorite show on the large smart TV. The gorgeous kitchen is a cook’s dream, with all stainless steel appliances and a four-person island for family meals. This floor is also home to the main bedroom, which has a comfortable bed and a private two-person soaking tub, a large private deck overlooking a wooded area, and an en suite full bathroom.
Upstairs, the loft area offers an additional sleeping nook with a comfortable bed, a sofa bed, plenty of books and board games, a convenient desk, a full bathroom, and expansive water views.
