Stunning centrally located apartment, walking distance to the centre of Wanaka and just across road from the lake.
This luxury apartment is a great spot to base yourself in both summer and winter, with ease of access to the lake, the town centre and the ski fields.
The property is split over three levels, with the living area on the middle floor, two bedrooms on the ground floor and the master bedroom on the top floor.
The apartment has an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and living space, which boasts lovely views of the lake and Roys Peak.
The location is perfect for guests wanting to be walking distance to the many fantastic cafes, bars & restaurants Wanaka has to offer. And if it’s warm outside and you need a dip, the lake is a stone’s throw away. Easy!
The bedrooms downstairs are both super king, which can be split into twin rooms. One has its own ensuite bathroom, while the other has access to a bathroom just opposite, which also boasts a sauna. There is in-ceiling heat to keep them warm in winter, while their position on the ground floor keeps it cool in summer. These both open out onto a paved courtyard.
The master bedroom upstairs has a ducted heat pump system offering warmth in winter and cool air conditioning in summer. There is a large wardrobe area, as well as a large ensuite bathroom complete with spa bath and separate walk-in shower.
There is a double garage to park your vehicles, as well as a drying cupboard to store ski gear in winter. The laundry is in the garage also.
Guests have access to the entire apartment and garage. Please do not park outside the garage.
There are many world-class attractions, sporting activities and adventure opportunities within easy reach of the Wanaka Township. Take a scenic cruise on Lake Wanaka, taste world-renowned local Pinot Noir wines or try your luck fishing the many rivers and streams.
Located at an altitude of 300 metres, Wanaka is fast becoming one of the world’s great playgrounds. Visitors can venture into the hills and mountains surrounding Wanaka for skiing, heli-skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking and climbing. Or just enjoy the views!
We recommend our guests hire a car for their stay in Wanaka, to make exploring the local area a breeze!
Please be aware that this property is managed by ‘Release Wanaka’. We are a local Wanaka property management business and we are legally responsible for the care of the property. We require a fully refundable security bond for each booking. This will be refunded in full within 7 days of departure, as long as no loss or damage has occurred at the property. We require credit card details either before you arrive or on the day of arrival. The security bond for Lake Edge is NZ$1,000.
