Located amid an intimate collection of exclusive vacation rentals, the 445-square-foot Santa Rosa suite is in a semi-private wing on the second floor of the historic Hitchcock House. Stroll just one block to the famed East Beach. Or, ride bikes to downtown and Sterns Wharf.
Kick back in front of the decorative electric fireplace and watch a movie on a 32" TV. Enjoy morning coffee at the coffee table. The suite also includes a desk, a mini refrigerator and freezer, a microwave, and a coffee maker. After a fun-filled day at the beach, enjoy an afternoon cookout on the shared patio, complete with a gas grill and ample table seating, as well as several benches and lounge chairs.
Your vacation rental is less than one mile from the Santa Barbara Zoo, which features 500 animals over 30 acres. Ride the Zoo Train, feed the giraffes, see live stage shows, and take a behind-the-scenes tour. Walk or pedal along the beach path 1.4 miles to Stearns Wharf, one of Santa Barbara’s most popular attractions. Ride the Water Taxi, visit the Sea Center, browse the specialty shops, and dine while enjoying the best views in town! Tour the Urban Wine Trail to taste some of the finest wines produced in Santa Barbara County. It can be navigated on foot or by shuttle.
Things to Know
This vacation rental has two codes to access the property. The first is a gate code that provides entry through the communal door to reach the second floor, and the second is a 10-digit code to access the home.
This is an old, turn-of-the-century home, and noise may be heard from adjacent units.
This home is located near the train tracks (all Santa Barbara beachfront property shares this feature) and the 101 freeway. Earplugs are provided for those sensitive to noise while sleeping.
Although this unit is not equipped with air conditioning, it is rarely needed with the mild summer temperatures at the beach. A ceiling fan ensures a pleasant breeze.
This unit is on the second floor. Elevators are not available.
No dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Property Manager approval.
This rental is located on floor 2.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.
