The Swan Lake Lodge is the ultimate lakefront getaway on Swan Lake in beautiful Bigfork, MT. Swan Lake is surrounded by mountains and national forest and offers a wealth of outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, and horseback riding. Delight in some of the best sunsets over the lake and enjoy a multitude of water sports including swimming, paddle boarding, boating, jet skiing, and much more! This beautifully decorated, waterfront home is perfect for families and friends to get together and enjoy the beauty that Montana has to offer.
As you enter the home, you are welcomed by an adorable sitting room with two egg chairs, perfect for reading a book while on vacation or having a chat. From there you will find the beautiful, spacious living room. The living room features a gorgeous stone, gas fireplace that’s so cozy on those chilly summer nights. The leather couch and live edge coffee table compliment the coziness perfectly.
From the living room, you enter the kitchen and dining room. The dining room has a table that seats 4 and has some of the best lake views in the house. There is also a breakfast nook that joins the dining room and kitchen that seats 3-4 people comfortably. The kitchen has tons of counter space as well as beautiful stainless steel appliances, and a Keurig coffee maker to make your morning coffee.
As you move down the hallway you will find the master bedroom with an Ensuite bathroom and access to the lake from the sliding glass doors. Sleep peacefully in the king-sized bed and wake up to heavenly sunrises over the lake. The master bedroom is decorated wonderfully with modern farmhouse touches including shiplap walls and a large barn door that leads into the Ensuite bathroom. The Ensuite bathroom is just as gorgeous with a double vanity and a combo tub/shower.
Also on this main level, you have a second bathroom, a very convenient laundry room and a two more bedrooms. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and is decorated just as gorgeously as the master. It also has beautiful views and gets lots of natural light from two large windows. The third bedroom is a bunk room with 4 twin-sized bunks that kids will absolutely love! The second bathroom is complete with a single vanity and a relaxing, spacious walk-in shower.
The second floor features a second living area that is furnished with a large sectional, perfect for watching a movie together in the evening. Behind the living area there are two twin-sized beds in a cute little alcove that feels extra cozy. Also on the second level there is a fourth bedroom and two more bathrooms. The fourth bedroom is a spacious room with a queen-sized bed, a coffee bar for those mornings when you need caffeine first thing and an adorable sitting area that looks out over the lake. The last two bathrooms are complete with a single vanity and a combo/tub shower.
Step out onto the back patio from the dining room or master bedroom and gaze out onto Swan Lake. You have full, private lakefront access with a dock that’s just waiting to be jumped off of! You also have access to two pergolas that provide lots of shade, tons of lounge chairs, a gas grill, and a fire pit that’s right next to the lake just waiting for you to roast marshmallows!
In the winter, the Flathead Valley is famous for its world-class skiing and wide range of winter activities. There are two ski resorts in the area including the local favorite Whitefish Mountain Resort and the family-friendly Blacktail Mountain Ski Area. Whitefish Mountain Resort was recently ranked #3 in the West by Ski Magazine readers! Visitors to the area can also enjoy ice fishing on Flathead Lake, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing in Glacier National Park, and snowmobiling with one of the local outfitters.
In the summer, enjoy all the water sports imaginable at Flathead Lake, the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi in the lower 48! Glacier National Park is also close by with the breathtaking Going-To-The-Sun Road, Lake McDonald, and 70+day hikes! Make sure you take time to experience downtown Bigfork boasting shops, galleries, restaurants and the Bigfork Summer Playhouse. There are activities for everyone from hiking the Swan River Nature Trail, exploring the Jewel Basin Wilderness Area, fishing the many lakes & rivers or golfing at any of the exceptional courses, including Eagle Bend Golf Course.
