Location The house (hillside location) is situated on the west coast between the picturesque and romantic mountain villages of Banyalbufar and Valldemossa. In Port’ des Canonge there are a few weekend houses of locals. A few foreigners fell in love with this corner of the island many years ago. A narrow, very well built winding road leads to the "Port" and at the same time protects against mass tourism. (no buses). The botanical garden is overgrown with beautiful old trees (olive trees, citrus and fig trees, baobabs, etc.). On the one hand, you enjoy a fantastic sea view and a view of olive groves, old fincas and the wild woods from the property, and at the same time you are in an absolute intimacy. The secluded pool is located at the lower end of the property. There are cosy places to linger in the garden. An oasis also for children to play. By car you can reach the bay (large pebbles or seaweed) in less than 2 minutes. You will find two small typical restaurants there, one of which is one of the most famous fish restaurants (Ca’n Toni Moreno) on the island. Valldemossa, Banyalbufar and Esporles are only 8 to 12 km away from this gem. The nearest pebble beaches are found in Banyalbufar, Estellences, Port Valldemossa and in Deïa. For sandy beaches, you have to calculate about an hour’s drive. Facilities The living areas are divided into two levels. Upstairs there is a spacious entrance hall (with guest toilet), a living room with open fireplace (separable from the entrance by a sliding door) equipped with (satellite TV). The whole front of the house has a large, partly covered terrace. The dining room is a few steps up from the living room. The perfectly equipped kitchen is adjacent to the dining room (dishwasher and washing machine) and has a direct exit to a spacious terrace with barbecue. The warm summer evenings under the starry sky and the far view over the glittering sea are particularly beautiful here. To the right of the entrance area is a double bedroom with en suite bathroom. In the lower living area of the villa there are three more double bedrooms, each with en suite bathroom, one of them with grand lit. Each room has its own direct exit to the terrace and the garden. The house has underfloor heating and air conditioning units in the bedrooms. It is comfortably habitable all year round. Special The view of the sea and the mountains is simply breathtaking. The sunsets you enjoy from this house are unforgettable. The west coast has an infinite number of beautiful hiking trails, which are well signposted and about which you can get good information in various hiking guides. The nearest golf course "Son Termes" can be reached in about 15 to 20 minutes, many other courses are less than an hour away. A PURE HOLIDAY and yet only 35 minutes away from Palma!
