Banner Sky is a 2bd/2ba cabin with mountain views and wrap around porch minutes from downtown Banner Elk. This two bedroom, two bathroom home with a sleeper sofa can accommodate 5 guests. With its spectacular location and fine finishings, Banner Sky is ready to be your favorite getaway. Tucked in the corner of Valley View, you’ll have privacy while being close to town, minutes from Beech Mountain Ski Resort, Fine Dining, Alpine Coaster, Winery’s and much more. The living room has a beautiful gas log fireplace, large screened TV, and a sleeper sofa. The kitchen has high end granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and a Keurig for the perfect cup of coffee! Off the kitchen is a full sized laundry center. Two bedrooms on opposite sides give privacy for guests. One bedroom has a King sized bed, TV, and access to a gorgeous full bath. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and an attached bath that also opens to the hallway. Each bath has granite counters and a custom tiled shower with glass doors. Also, sit and relax and enjoy a custom made, locally built pergola swing with a 360 degree view of the mountains, and watch the sunset or rise with a cup of coffee or glass of wine. The town of Banner Elk has four distinct seasons, and offers fun family activities all year long. As winter begins, Banner Elk helps thousands of families each year start a family tradition with many Choose-N-Cut farms for travelers to get a Christmas tree. Once the holiday festivities are over, the area becomes a ski town. Known as the Ski Capitol of the South, winter sports enthusiasts flock to the area for skiing, snowboarding, and tubing at the area’s larger resorts, Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain which are both located only a few miles away! Spring and summer in Banner Elk is the perfect time to get out of the city heat. Enjoy a relaxing drive, hike, or picnic on the Blue Ridge Parkway, or take a trip to Grandfather Mountain. For outdoor enthusiasts, Banner Elk is home to many rafting and fishing outfitters, hiking and biking trails, and distinct golf courses. Wildcat Lake is also open to the public, and offers swimming, canoeing, and much more! Come see what the beautiful mountains of North Carolina have to offer! - All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided. - Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am - Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates. - No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home. - Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook. - No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable. - 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement. - NCREC Broker Name: Property Manager. NCREC License Number: 298198 - This home allows up to 2 mature, well-trained dogs with an additional pet rent of $25.00 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted. CANCELLATION POLICY: STRICT: Cancellations 60+ days prior to arrival receive a full refund minus the $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 60 days of arrival will not be refunded unless the dates are rebooked to another traveler.
