Enjoy the wonderful splendor of this beautiful three-level log home with spectacular mountain views!
Enter the cabin with just 1 step from the level parking area. As you pass through the foyer with a built-in coat rack and step past the half bath into the great room with 20-foot high exposed beam ceiling, you are sure to be enthralled by the incredible mountain views seen through the huge wall of windows. There is plenty of comfortable leather furniture arranged around a stone woodburning fireplace with a large HDTV mounted above it. Also, there is access to a covered section of the large deck where the 6-person hot tub and incredible views are sure to be enjoyed.
From the great room pass through a hallway containing a full-service wet bar with a wine chiller and enter the dining room with seating for 8 which is adjacent to the beautiful well-equipped kitchen with seating for 4 at the large granite-topped island. There is also access to a covered section of the large deck where a gas grill sits and an additional dining table with chairs in the open deck.
Every cook’s dream will come to life in the kitchen with high end stainless steel appliances including a 6-burner gas stove, granite counters, and plenty of cookware. A laundry room, half bathroom, and walk-in pantry are situated just off the kitchen as well.
A spacious master suite is accessed from the other side of the great room. This relaxing getaway features a King bed, a separate sitting area, access to the large deck convenient to the hot tub, and a private full bathroom with two separate marble-topped vanities and a stone tiled shower.
Upstairs is an open loft with a desk and two bedroom suites with large windows facing the beautiful long-range mountain views. On one side of the loft, there is a bedroom with a Queen size bed and a private full bathroom. And the other bedroom has a Queen bed, and a full bathroom.
Downstairs is a second living area with plush seating arranged around a fireplace with an HDTV above it. This room is also equipped with a half bath and access to the lower deck. A second master bedroom suite is located off one side of the living area, and it features a King bed and a private full bathroom.
A separate large game room is located on the other side of the living area. This room features a shuffleboard table, a pool table, ping pong table, and an air hockey table. There is also a large HDTV mounted on the wall and a wet bar with a built-in wine chiller. Off the game room is a fifth bedroom with 2 sets of twin-over-full bunk beds.
With the huge hot tub, the dining table set, the chairs situated to enjoy the views, and the gas grill mainlined into the house tank, the upper deck is sure to become a gathering place for everyone.
As beautiful as the setting is adjacent to the Blue Ridge Parkway, you may be surprised that the home is only 6 miles from Boone’s shopping and dining and only 12 miles from Main Street in Blowing Rock. All the exciting High Country attractions are just a short drive away as well. Come experience the beauty and convenience of Hidden Ridge for yourself!
PLEASE NOTE: This home is accessed by a slightly steep gravel road. It is plowed when necessary in winter months, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are highly recommended November through March and chains may also be necessary to access the property during these months.
Please note that the internet at this cabin is ATT DSL, with slow speeds and not currently suitable for streaming.
Additional Notes:
-Firewood may be added by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a fire starter for $25/night.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- There are two exterior security cameras mounted on the right and left side of the front porch facing towards the driveway area. No camera views the interior of the home or common gathering areas.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
