The Space
Entry is easy with just one step from the level parking area. Inside, a welcoming foyer with a built-in coat rack leads past a convenient half bath into the dramatic great room.
The great room features soaring 20-foot exposed beam ceilings and a spectacular wall of windows showcasing incredible mountain views. Comfortable leather seating surrounds a stone wood-burning fireplace, with a large HDTV mounted above—creating the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the High Country.
Step outside onto the expansive deck where a covered section features an 8-person hot tub, the perfect place to unwind while taking in the mountain scenery.
Kitchen & Dining
Just off the great room, a butler’s pantry with a full wet bar and wine chiller leads to the dining area, which comfortably seats eight guests. The dining space flows into a beautifully appointed kitchen featuring a large granite island with seating for four.
The kitchen is truly a cook’s dream, equipped with:
• 48” stainless steel gas range with eight burners and dual ovens
• Stainless French-door refrigerator/freezer
• Microwave and new dishwasher
• Large farmhouse sink
• Granite countertops
• Fully stocked cookware and kitchen essentials
From the kitchen, step out onto another section of the deck featuring a gas grill, outdoor dining table for six, and eight Adirondack chairs, perfect for relaxing or enjoying meals with a view.
A laundry room, half bath, and walk-in pantry are conveniently located nearby.
Main-Level Master Suite
The spacious main-floor master suite offers a peaceful retreat featuring:

Upper Level
Upstairs, an open loft workspace overlooks the great room below. On either side of the loft are two private bedroom suites with large windows capturing the stunning mountain views. Each suite features a queen bed and its own private full bathroom.
Lower Level
The lower level offers even more room to relax and have fun.
A second living area includes plush seating arranged around a fireplace with a large HDTV and direct access to the lower deck.
A king bedroom suite with private bathroom sits just off this living space.
On the opposite side of the level is the large game room, providing entertainment for all ages with:

Just beyond the game room is the Kids’ Bunk Adventure Room, featuring two twin-over-full bunk beds, perfect for up to six children.

PLEASE NOTE: This home is accessed by a slightly steep gravel road. It is plowed when necessary in winter months, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are highly recommended November through March and chains may also be necessary to access the property during these months.
Additional Notes:
-Firewood may be added by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a fire starter for $25/night.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- There are two exterior security cameras mounted on the right and left side of the front porch facing towards the driveway area. No camera views the interior of the home or common gathering areas.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
- Please note that the distances shown on OTA’s map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations.

About the area
Boone, North Carolina, is a delightful mountain town nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This town, which carries the name of the renowned pioneer Daniel Boone, offers a plethora of experiences for its visitors.
Nature lovers will find Boone an outdoor paradise. The surrounding mountains are laced with a variety of hiking trails that cater to all levels of hikers - from leisurely strolls to more strenuous climbs. Although not directly passing through Boone, the Blue Ridge Parkway - often dubbed as "America's Favorite Drive" - is in close proximity and provides breathtaking scenic views. These views become particularly spectacular during autumn when the leaves transform into vibrant hues.
History and culture enthusiasts have plenty to explore in Boone as well. The Hickory Ridge Living History Museum offers an immersive experience into 18th-century life with its historical structures and live demonstrations. While not located directly in Boone, but rather in nearby Blowing Rock, The Turchin Center for the Visual Arts is worth a visit for its display of contemporary art from both local and international artists.
