Cozy Beech is a charming four (4) bedroom cabin made of hand-hewn logs atop Beech Mountain, only two (2) miles from the slopes of Beech Mountain Ski Resort, with a fantastic, long-range mountain view, a hot tub, a fire pit, and a newly renovated kitchen. There is a game room with a pool table available to guests accessed from the outside. The Village of Beech Mountain, with restaurants and shopping, is less than three (3) miles away. Buckeye Lake and Buckeye Recreation Center is only five (5) miles away and offers a state-of-the-art facility for children and adults to enjoy sports and recreational activities, both indoors and outdoors. The windows reveal expansive views, and the living area focuses on an impressive, stone wood-burning fireplace that provides a stylish, stone accent wall for the kitchen and dining area. The living room boasts leather furniture and a large HD Smart TV. The kitchen was completely remodeled in 2019 and outfitted with upscale stainless appliances and quartz countertops. The central island doubles as prep space and casual dining space for up to 8 guests. The main level also has a laundry closet with a washer and dryer, a queen bedroom with an HDTV, and a massive, full bathroom with a footed, vintage soaking tub and shower. Walk outside to the main level, covered rear deck, open to priceless views of the peaks. There is a live-edge wooden porch swing and more outdoor seating. The deck wraps around to a covered side porch and an open-air corner patio with a propane fire table, outdoor dining space, a gas grill, and more seating under the sun and stars. The long, covered side porch leads to the main entrance and the steps leading up to the road and the parking area. There are also side steps leading to the lower courtyard and backyard. A hot tub on the lower level is tucked into a private nook. The entrance to the game room where the pool table is located is off this patio area. The game room is not accessible from the inside of the house. There is also a wood-burning fire pit and a large, landscaped, mostly-level back yard that is safe and fun for guests to enjoy. The upper level has three more bedrooms and another full bathroom with a tub and shower combo. The main master bedroom features a king bed, numerous windows, and a large HD Smart TV. The second upper bedroom has a queen bed, an HD Smart TV, and a leather armchair. The third upper bedroom is rather large and has an HD Smart TV and three beds, two (2) queen-size and one (1) twin. Cozy Beech is a fun, family-friendly, 4BR log cabin with tons of charm and character, affordable rent, and chock full of sought-after amenities! Located on Beech Mountain, close to all of the winter activities at Beech Mountain Ski Resort, this cabin is also ideal during warmer months when guests can enjoy the creeks and streams, walking and hiking trails that wind through Beech Mountain, and Buckeye Lake and Recreation Center. Banner Elk is at the foot of Beech Mountain, less than six miles away. Downtown is full of wonderful restaurants and fun shops. The towns of Boone and Blowing Rock are both about 20 miles away, and the village of Valle Crucis is only 13 miles away. Sugar Mountain Ski Resort and Golf Course are only 10 miles away. Grandfather Mountain is only about 15 miles away as well. Tweetsie Railroad and Appalachian Ski Mountain are between Boone and Blowing Rock, less than 25 miles away. These and many more wonderful things to do and see are conveniently nearby. *Note that the cabin access is via a long flight of outdoor stairs (pictured in the gallery) that come down from the parking area to the main level entry porch. *The interior steps to the upper level are slightly more narrow and steep than standard, so please be mindful of this until you get used to the difference. *Enjoy the clean, cool mountain breezes at 5000 feet elevation.
